What has been the hardest thing for you in the aging process?

Aging has been the hardest part, LOL. I am not old yet, only 35, but when I look at my photos from when I was 21, I miss being so darn handsome and good looking. On a more serious note, I think I miss the energy the most. Being not very healthy also plays a role in loss of energy, but I think the older you get the more rest you need to keep up. My health condition makes me feel 80. One good thing about aging is experience and knowledge, and of course the wisdom not to try and argue with young people. Blessings

You are young at that age. What type of health issues are you struggling with at this time? Health problems definitely effect ones attitude....I know they do mine.

I suffer from kidney failure. I have to be on dialysis machine three times a week for four hours. I had two transplants already. The first one did not work at all, the second gave me four excellent years and then it stopped working. I am back on the machines now for over six years and it is getting to me. I am a very positive person and it helps me to cope. What is your health isues?

Hi, Sorry to hear of your kidney condition. I worked with a progam years ago where I had clients involved with a kidney program at one of our local hospitals. I'm sure the dialysis saps your energy. My health issues are the result of an auto accident (not my fault) that occured in 2003-I'm left with left hand nerve damage and all kinds of problems with every area of my spine....daily chronic pain.

I was joking but I do think age is just a number I am older than I say but younger than I feel. Eighteen months ago I had an accident and my family was told I had 3 hours to live. Well I survived but I had broken my back in two places and was told I would never walk again. I came home from the rehabilitation nursing home able to walk again, four months after my accident, and able to take of myself. That was a miracle and another miracle was that I had been unconscious for at least two days before I was found and this was because my dogs were howling so much that my neighbors investigated and I was rushed to the hospital. So my dogs really saved my life. So you see I know what pain is but I have a lot of faith and I don't let anything get me down.

the aches and pains and sickness. I wish I could be young again just to feel well again.
