How many times of the year do you catch colds?

I used to catch colds about 1 times per year . It was awful. A couple of years ago I decided that I was not participating in catching illnesses/colds anymore. I may catch one a year now and it only lasts a day or two. What about you? Aren't colds the worse? What did you do to stop catching them?

I'm happy to say I almost never catch a cold, Don't know why but I don't really care lol. That simply works for me:-) .... The flip side to the coin is, I do catch allergies every year & that's almost the same thing:-(

Well at least you don't catch colds. The allergies is probably too much yeast in your body. There is a yeast cleanse you can do...I forget the name of it . I will find out and lit you know.

I already catch it, I've runny nose and bad things happened to me the past months, I catch cold and I've sore throat, I can't get rid form It until now, I revised my doctor and he said to me you have sensitivity from the weather, we have bad dusty weather here these days, so I stay at home all the time to avoid this weather.

This may sound weird to you. But I haven't had any colds for the last 8 years now. It may have something to do with the supplements that I'm taking. Or I was suddenly blessed with a strong immune system, LOL. But colds and flu are rampant here in my country. The bad weather are the number one culprit.

I usually get about 4 colds a year that last about 2 weeks. Unfortunatly I have a very weak immune system. I try to drink a lot of juice and eat foods that will energize me. I'm pretty stubborn when I'm sick though, I'll still do the things I do daily, but on the second day of being sick is when I stay in bed all day. It's aweful because my entire body will hurt. I hate medicine, but I'll take it if I need too.

I don't catch colds at all now. I take plenty of vitamin C tablets & I make sure I have garlic as often as I can in my food...not only does it help stop them but it tastes great. Did you know that you never catch the same cold twice? Each cold has it's own strain of virus & once you have caught that cold you body becomes immune to that exact cold virus...so each time you catch a cold you are getting a brand new virus...great huh

I am very lucky to be able to say that I usually don't have any colds during the year. I used to get one every few years when I was in school though and they would only last a day or two, and usually not a full-blown case - just runny nose, congestion... however, when I get a sore through on top of that, it is MURDER (I'm a mouth pain weenie)... I don't know how I seemed to stop catching them all together. My best guess is because I don't often spend my days with a lot of people around so there isn't as much of an exchange of germs and stuff as there used to be.

I don't catch colds often but I have severe allergies which have cold like symptoms. It doesn't matter what allergy meds I use they still don't work. Colds are horrible though when I do actually get one. Though compared to all the crap I go through with my allergies, I would take a cold any day over allergies.

I have not made a plan to ctach cold. I try to avoid it as it is very inconvenient. There is lot of irritation in nose and throat. But when the inevitable happens, I just pass time. No medicine.
