Its the second day that I have not actively participated her on mylot. I dont know what went wrong but I have observed my own stagnation on the 900th soemthing post. I have set a target to hit the 1000th post last week and it seemed eternity and still I have not reaached it. I tried to motivate myself to post more and more but it seemed dragging me to just read and enjoy the fun here. One reason that I have found out is the promise that I gave myself that I will no longer cut and paste from other sites. I have tried to enjoy it the last few weeks after I hit 500 and someone told me that I was abusing the benefit. I thought that whats the sue of giving me that benefit if I dont make us of it. So maybe, I have to change my promsie and make us of mu benefit to copy and paste.

Hi, to increase your post count, may I suggest do more responses to other people's discussions. I am not too sure, but I have tested it and found that posting discussion does not increase the post count. Reminds me to check the next time I post a discussion :P I remember your aspiration. Try responding something like 50 responses a day and see if your earnings jump. It might beat the earnings from posting discussions unless your discussion always receive lots of responses. Just my opinion.

Thank you whyask! I have tried to set a target of 50 posts here but I seem not to hit it. Maybe I just lack the motivation to do so. I will try that target from now on and see If there;s any changes in my earnings.

Cutting and pasting always made me feel guilty even if I know that I should not especially if I have inculcated my own ideas or thoughts over the subject matter. I have slowed down here too but it's because I just have so many things to do outside this site. I am merely here for enjoyment and if I have nothing else to do.

Yes, very true, I wanted to enjoy also. But sometimes I get affected with the ratings going down. Well I have to work and work more here and enjoy the posts of other people here on mylot. I really need also sometime to rest and be cal about posting here.

Hello,Zelmarq, you are not far away from 1000 posts, I think you will get this targer soon,do not need to worry, just enjoy in the discussions here and you will reach there. It is fine to copy and paste with quoting of the source, and sometimes ,it is easier to do it with copy and paste if you are replying to some discussions about recipes or something else.

Ah ok, so its ok to cut and paste so long as it would fit the discussion. So I will try to apply that hopefully would imrove my daily posts here. Thank you for the advice.
