Hi!
I'm just curious why other people are looking for work at home sites to make money online. I know we all have our own struggles and I'm very in 'touch' with my own struggles to make money to help my family but I want to hear what brought other people here and what exactly you are looking for.
Did you lose your job?
Do you have children and want to stay home with them?
Are you just looking for fun ways to make spare change in your free time?
Are you struggling in some way and need money badly?
Why are you here? What are you looking for?
My Story:
I'm here because I gave up working in the corporate world to stay home with my son and help him through the teenage years. I didn't want him to become like so many other teens these days and I was one of those parents that worried alot so working far from home became a major stress in my life.
Now we are struggling on one income and it's hard. Our house payment in through the roof and we've come very close to losing it a few times. I'm trying to find legit ways to earn money from my computer because I need to. We need the money, badly. We are living paycheck to paycheck and it's not fun. I'm tired of being stressed and feeling like I'm not helping my family. I do not have ANYTHING to spend on scam programs so I'm focusing on just the sites that pay you without asking you to pay them first.
So far, I'm doing really good but I have high hopes of doing much better.
I enjoy helping others in my situation as well and I hope I can make friends with people who want to network and find ways together of making money online.

There are various reasons I have decided to make money online. I had a baby 10 months ago and want to stay home with him. I don't like leaving him with other people, the longest I have was for like 5 hours and I was missing him. Another reason is because I can't get a job due to the government messing up and not giving me a Social Security Number when I was born. I was born in Florida, and the nurse didn't put my name on the birth certificate (my last name is only on it). I also cant get a drivers license because of the Social Security Number, so even if i had a car it would be of no use. i could get my permit renewed but I would have to have a 21 year old with me when I drove.
The only way I can really make any money is through the internet, its not much but it helps. I can't even get a bank account to transfer the money I earn, so I have to use my fiances' paypal account. It is so confusing and irritating, its like I'm illegal but I'm not. (Actually illegal immagrants can get more benefits than I do, its kind of a shame since I'm a citizen.) I use most of the money that I make on my own medical bills, everyone else has insuarance except me. So by the time I pay my bills I personally have nothing. If I had my SS# everything wouldn't be such a struggle, I'm sure I would still be making money on the internet but for extra money.

Thanks, I am in the process of grtting an amended birth certificate, which will put my first and middle name on the birth certificate. Hopefully from there I will be able to get my social security card, but you never know. I tried getting my social security card back were I use to live, but you wouldn't believe how packed it was everyday. There are so many immagrants going and getting there social that one time i went there and I was number 71 and there were a lot more people behind me. And when I finally did get to talk to the person he said that I couldn't be found in Floridas records, I was so mad. How can you not find someone when they were born at your hospital? Anyways when I moved to Iowa the social security office was much more helpful, well at least the guy that was helping us(one lady was rude and I wanted to cuss her out but that would get me no where). My Amended birth certificate should be here soon, so I wil keep you updated on whats going to happen next if you want me too. I really really hope I can get it. When my friends go out to the bars and hang out I can't go eventhough I'm 19 and thats when you can get into the bars but cant drink. I feel bad because my fiancee' doesn't want to leave me at home but I don't want him to not go hang out just because I can't go out. It's really stressful. lets see, its the end of the month and i have 700 dollars of bills due. rent, daycare,and cable (unfortuantly i need connection for school which i am trying to go back to). and yet only have $326.00 but on monday i turn in my mileage so +20, gonna cash in my change +20. and have some money from week before +40. $406.00.lol and i hope i have enough groceries,gas, and my daughter wont need more medicine this week.
i'm a single mom, finally got a job that lets me take off when kido is sick, monday thru friday so that she can be in daycare. but unfortuantly the pay isn't the best. i get 215 a month in childsupport,do not quailify for any assistance, and most likely will never qualify. but that doesnt mean i can make all of my bills, and to hell with teh thought of getting teh bill collectors off my back. er bills, old credit card, payday loan, txu bill,bank, .......
i get so stuck sometimes and dont know how to fix it. so yea if i can make enough money on here to atleast pay my internet bill then right on. any ideas on how to make more

God I know how you are feeling! I've been in your spot too many times in the past and even now I struggle with how I'm going to make ends meet. It's hard when I am staring at a stack of bills and then looking at my bank account and realizing I just do not have enough to pay them all. I have to rob Peter to pay Paul, so to speak. I put off whatever I can for as long as I can without having any added fees. I pay just what I need to so that nothing is turned off or late. It sucks!
I also never answer my home phone now because I do not want to make up some excuse to the bill collectors about why I'm late. So now I just leave my internet on 24/7 so they can't get through. (I have dial up) How sad, huh? I know if it's something important from family - they will call the cell phone.
I'm glad I found MyLot and that I'm finding sites every day that are paying as well. I'm slowly but surely making a small chunk of extra change by playing online and I like that - it gives me hope. I'm on a mission to find real paying sites and not scams.

I'm very tired to try thousands of scams like autosurf, HYIP and "make money secrets revealed" or "became millionaire: sercrets revealed ofr $ 19,95"....
I think the unique way for earning a lot of honest money are the CPM-CPC programs. You need to have a website but they work!
Also a lot of pay-per-search engines work well and the last I found it this:

it seems working well and you can set it as your home page and make research... You'll we paid for doing this. When they will be out of beta you can earn $ 0,25 per hour!

I just quit my job-today in fact. I was only working two Saturdays a month, so it wasn't a huge deal anyway. The reason I quit was because of all the backstabbing and pettiness at my job. It seems to be worse when I quit working 4-5 days a week.
Now I stay home full time with my son. It's important to me that he isn't raised by someone else. He's 15 months old and learns new things everyday. I like being a part of that.
My husband is in the Air Force, so we don't have a house payment or rent or anything. But he's low ranking and we have a car payment, student loans, insurance, etc. His paycheck covers the bills and groceries. But I have to come up with any extra money for things like clothes (with a baby we go through a lot!), toys, and any other extras that we need/want. Luckily, we have money that comes out of his check automatically into savings, so we won't have to quit saving now. It would just be nice to have some extra money for fun things.

I wish you so much success with staying home and being able to make money online too. Being able to stay home with your son is an awesome thing and I wish all parents could afford to do it. You'll be glad you made that decision in the long run.

Its true many people today struggling to survive in a world that needs the money to talk...same goes to me...I've been trying a few onlines money making method but until today, I haven't got the taste...Its quite disappoinment but I can't just lost hope...Till today, I'm still trying to use a new method...hope its work...

actually i just want to find extra buck online. .that's why i'm here.. i think that it's good to struggle as i'm still young.. if i don't work now.. i won't be able to work better in the future.. and it's great that i've found mylot... i heard mylot is closing.. and now i have to find a new moneymaking site.. gosh.. it's really difficult to find one.. as most site don't pay.. they just use your time and they gain the money...i'm really bored of getting cheated.. if any of you have better paid sites.. where hardwork will does pay.. then you can message it to me.. i am willing to work hard just to earn :)

I'm wondering where you heard that MyLot was closing. I find that hard to believe since they are growing so quickly but I'd love to hear where you heard that!

mine is a very big story but il write a gist of it.. i am from a very rich family and had a love marriage and so no touch with our parents.. and we had such good parents that they r still trying their best to seperate us.. my mother in law gave me poison and my womb go affected as i was pregnant at that stage.. we both were earning well but due to this i got depressed and left my job and on the other hand my mom tried to harm my husband.. he met with an accident and was bedridden for a yr.. tats y i am trying for sites like mylot where i can be paid and help my husband in running the house but many sites are not paying.. if u know any sites pls mail me at vityota@yahoo.co.in it would be of great help.. plus i am here as i want many friends

i was trying my luck if i could really join any paying sites online. since i am always surfing the net one friend advised me to join any earning money programs which will pay me without any obligation. so here i am enjoying at mylot with the discussions and the payout i am about to receive by 15th may. aside from mylot, i became a member of other paying sites too. i got interested on making money online because i needed extra income for the family since the retirement benefits i am receiving monthly is not enough. with the little earnings coming from these programs i feel that at least it may help me pay my water and internet bills and buy some basic needs.

I have always tried to make money on the net at one time I had so many surf banners I could hardly see my page one was really big for Net Zero for free internet but I think it is smaller now? I also had Bluelight and juno when my free hours ran out I could use one of those.. I am here because I need money to help my family my parents had to mortage their home to help my brother he got into a lot of trouble. It's been so hard to pay bills! Even special brands of shampoo is a treat! My mom has a few months to wait for Medicare to start and her medicine sometimes runs over $900 a month and my dad just gets a little SS so it has really been tough! Sometimes I wish I lived in a country that gives free health insurance for all. I have high hopes too of making money on the net I just know I can do it!

mainly coz i'm hoping to make some xtra money, and since i go online whenever i have nothing else to do, then why not make some money at the same time? hehe..then i can use it to buy some stuff that i want so that i'll be able to save some portion of my salary...something like that i guess..

I found the Artisan Corporation of America. It is a jewelry making company and I have the start-up kit. I have watched the dvd but it still seems kinda complicated. However, I like them because I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they had a good track record. They are very prompt with any communication that goes on also.
I have wanted to try working at home for several years. I was a hair stylist but I was also a newlywed and needed better money. I also worked in two daycares but one closed down and moved to a new location and the other was just a terrible place. I now watch a few children in my home. I love having a daycare in my own home but I also know that they are growing up and will be going to school next year. I knew I needed a plan to go on. My husband and I are planning for a family and after working in daycare myself, I know how ridiculously expensive it is. I want the security of working at home so I can be with my child and have money coming in. Keep up the high hopes because that's what I'm doing also.

In regards to making more money online site I have been doing this since I had to retire from work due to my health I cannot go outside and work, so I bought a computer so that I can make some extra money to help my family to have that little bit extra for other items we need in our lives. I do agree with you that it is no good to pay out money first to earn money and I have been doing this for the last past 6 years now which has helped me a lot, and I don't blame you wanting to stay home with your son so if you are interested in thing that I do to earn money where you do not have to pay out money first then please add me to your friends list and private message me so that I may be of help to you.

Diana, I can guague your concern for contributing in the income of your family. YOU are a true person... who think that what best can be done by you to increase the income of your family. As fas as I am concern, earning is secondary for me and ....I have noticed that it takes time to grow your income here. I did not join the site for earning. MY aim was to learn and get connected with people. I think in your country there are more such sites which offer you money for your contribution and if you are trying to earn money nothing wrong in that. Keep it up. Best of Luck. Sorry to hear that things are so stressful. My story is I got sick just after I got married. I have been out of work for 10 years and my husband as carried the entire load. I am feeling much better now but dont' feel I can handle the work force out in the big world. Trying to lend a helping hand by joining the internet sites. So far i am not doing that great. I dont' know how to make it better. Maybe I can join some of your site if I am not alread a member and that can help you out and intern in will help me? Let me know!

I'm here for making money, to have new friends, and develop my communication skill. This site can help me according to the other members. I work in computer cafe duty for 13 hours i have time for surfing or gaming. I enjoyed reading and give some comments and advices.
