Arguing about politics.

Does anybody else have rather heated debates with their spouse about politics? My husband and I are at different ends of the center of the plotical spectrum, so this happens to me rather alot. There are times when I could slap his chops, especially when he gets on his soap box and follows me around the house ranting like a mad man while I am trying to get on with something else. Sometimes I don't know why he bothers, he knows I'll win any time bother getting into it with him.
