Where we are heading, our current players getting older and older with age and bat. Is that right that we dont have talent to replace these old players? If yes how to identify those.

i am from pakistan and has a great interest in cricket. India has produced a large number of great players in the past. But now all the players are older but they must perform actually they are not mentally strong as a player have to be.

Yea they not mentally strong as they use to be, but we dont have replacement for those players. What about your Pakistani team? Is there any replacement for Inzzi? or Shoaib?

Hi welcome to MyLot. About ur question I don not think that talent is a problem in India. Its just that the selections are always biased and politically influenced. If the board goes for a fair selection, believe me we have so much talent that we can have 5 simultaneous teams and all capable of winning world cup, but alas its filthy politics and corruption that is ruining India and everything in India. So its just that we have to sort out how to get out of corruption and dirty politics.

Ok, i agree with your point, I am still concern that how we identify those talented players? Do performance of domestic cricket counts for international level. I dont think it count, and to cement my arguement you can take the example of Gautam Gambir. He is still one of the best in domestic circle but almost srtuggled to make a mark on international event. You have example to make me think otherwise?
