Going to out for a meal

April 29, 2007 6:00am CST
Tonight a group of friends and I are going into Preston to a Chinese resteraunt for a meal out. We are going to be going on the eat all you want for £10. So should be lots of fun going for a chinese buffet meal. Something I am looking forward to. If you was to go out for a Chinese what would be the dish you would go for most? My favourites are the Sweet and Sour dishes. Lynn-Marie

I am a Chinese living in Singapore so I eat Chinese food pretty much every day. I don't particularly fancy the sweet and sour dishes personally unless the pork and fish are cooked real nice. Then again, it is quite rare for dishes to be sweet and sour. :P

Something we dont do too often lol! There is a group of us that goes on these trips! 20 of us lol! So we hire a mini-bus to cope with us all! Our meal outing is something we do once a month, usually the last Sunday in the month.. Thanks for the reply Lynn-Marie

I love chinese, room for another on your table ;0) £10 is very reasonable. Where we are it is £14. My favourite course is crispy duck! With the pancakes, sauce and the cucumber, yum! Now you are making me hungry. Save me some ;0)

LOL We got it at a discount as there is a party of 20 of us going this evening. Who knows our mini-bus driver might want in too lol We are a group of ladies that just go for a meal once a month, usually the last Sunday in the month. Last month we went to a Carebean somewhere in Manchester.. Its great living in Chorley, cos we are so close to Manchester or Preston, or indeed Blackpool Thanks for the response Lynn-Marie

Wow, I hope you guys have a great time in the restaurant! :) I love Chinese food too and all kinds of Chinese food gets me really excited. My favourite items are deep fried dumplings. These generally contain meat and seafood and are simply delicious. Sometimes, they do a good job with the fried bee hoon too. Bee Hoon are thin strands of 'noodles' made from rice flour. These are great too. If you enjoy spicy food, you could also try sze chuan soup. It's got lots of chilli and is great too.
