Final match of 2007 icc world cup was a truncated match of 38 overs for aussies n 36 for lanka...
i was expecting a good match for 100 overs!

Frankly speaking- Nobecause the weather played a spoil-sport and the match was not very competitive with the probable result out in the first 20 overs itself. Srilanka was not up to the mark and Australia proved why they were the champions. A good full 100 overs competitive and close match would have interseted me as a world cup final and not a 74 overs game. There was also a lot of confusion as Srilanka finished its 33 over and it was a bit funny as well.
