Yes, she is from Brazil!!! I've never heard her speak it..I've heard the language before though..you should learn it!!! Its similar to Italian and Spanish...good luck..

I knew that she spoke portuguese but I have never heard her speak it personally. It would be awesome to be able to speak many different languages personally.

Yes, I know it. She's luso-canadian, her fathers are from Portugal and she speak portuguese, but I never listened also. And yes, yes... she's VERY beautiful. :D

yes i have read somewhere that she does, and not surprising too, condering that she is of latin american descent. she is a truly talented artise and enteratiner.

I honestly thought nelly furtado was spanish after she sang that song which i can't pronounce. Nonetheless, whatever her nationality she is, she can sing very well.

I've never heard of that but I believe she speaks portuguese because as a latin girls, she speaks spanish, then, in 1 month a spanish speaking person can easily learn portuguese if he/she has the will.
