Remembering Fluffy----My Very Special Dog.

You know Gissi being talked about has got me thinking about the first dog I had after my husband and I got married. We came back to the states and were living in Minot AFB, North Dakota and I was pregnant with my son. To fast forward a bit my son was born and when he turned two the day before Christmas we went and looked at some puppies. They were part German Shephard and part Collie. All the puppies were jumping at us and wanting attention but I saw this little nose sticking out from under the couch. I asked the women about this puppy and she said he was very shy. We decided we wanted to look at this puppy and had to pull the couch out. He kept backing into the corner of the couch as far as he could go. I squatted down and reached toward him stopping so he could smell my hand. Then I picked him up and all of us fell in love with him. We took him home with us. And as he and my son grew up together the things that dog could get into.

Yes I did have a lot of years with him. He was so cute with his nose stuck out of the bottom of the couch. I had just happened to see this nose sticking out. I do like the shy ones they seem to soak up the love you give them. And the ones that have had a hard life will defend you to the end after you nurture them back to where they can trust a person again. Love and Hugs back to you dear friend.

And most important is the love that evolves with each day that passes.

I have written about every dog I ever had. I love dogs just as much as I love people. I would not have gotten through my childhood without them. I feel.

Fluffy sounds like he was a very special dog to your whole family! I had a dog like that. Her name was Alli. My kids were 4 and 9 when we got her. She lived 15 years.
