Describe your house/apartment. What's your neighborhood like? My apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 7th storey building. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms, a kitchen and a dining room. Yeah,my house is huge you can ride your bike inside, haha. It's perfect because I have a kid who is like an energizer bunny. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The supermarket, bank, laundromat are just around the corner, restaurants are at walking distances, seaside park is just few blocks away. Oh, I just love it here. Almost everything is accessible. How about yours?

My fiance and I live with his parents. We're currently living on the 6th floor of a 21 Floor building. The apartment is nice and cozy. It has 3 rooms, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a playroom for my son. Looking outside our window, we get to see taller buildings and when you look up you can see the sky (duh!), looking down you'll get to see the tram tracks and buses and cars. Just like in the "Rush Hour" movies haha.

Your place sound huge and wonderful! I am in a 2 bedroom basement suite in a fourplex. We live in an industrial area with working class folk as our neighbours. We chose the area as it is close to work and our business. Sometimes too close! I love the people who live in this neighbourhood, they are just average folks with average lives and everyone is on first name basis with each other. It might not be a fancy area but it is a friendly part of town. I was out gardening yesterday and the neighbour came over to say I could use her compost box instead of throwing out the weeds. Just a neighbourly thing to do. In a couple of weeks we are having a neighbourhood garage sale. So although my apartment isn't the greatest at least I feel safe in my neighbourhood.

Having neighbors that you can count as family is always a blessing. Safe neighborhood is one of the top considerations when choosing a place to live, I guess. You're lucky, whywiki. Thanks for the reply.

Hi there, I live in a neat family orientated and animal friendly neighborhood, everyone knows whos kids belong to who, and all the children on our street walk to school or go to the beach together, real close knit neighbour hood, of all ethnics and cultures... Our house is your typical 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, 1 shower room, a laundry room and a sunroom, a separate spacious kitchen and one big open dinning and lounge room, situated on a big yard full of fruit trees and gardens... We are in walking distance to the township, the school and the beach. Everything is accessible for us too.

Just wondering if you always need to move from one place to another =_=. That was literally the picture when I was little because of my father's job. My siblings loved it. For me it was the opposite. Anyway, hope you'll enjoy living in a new state.

My bf and I rent a house near his company. On my floor, there are four families. My landowner lives under our house. There is only a toilet and a tap on each floor. in the high time for supper, we have to spend twice time than usual time.sometimes my neightbous forget to splash toilet. It is too faul to smell.Every moring ,our landowner will clean the floor and toilet, so it is not a bad place for people who are just graduating from colleges. We dont want to move a better house because of my landowner. She is very kind.

Wow your apartment is huge!! I live in a four bedroom (one is converted to an office) house two living rooms, dining room, kitchen with dining area, 2 bathrooms, a florida room (sunroom with lots of windows) and a two car garage. We have a fenced in backyard with that nice vinyl privacy fence. Our front yard is open and we have made islands with plants growing in them. Our neighborhood is quiet and secluded. We are literally 5 minutes from shopping and resturants. It is nice of course I would rather be in the country but if I have to live in the city this is the place I want to be.

I live in a small cottage that resembles a castle with my husband and our two dogs, Trooper, my Jack Russell Terrier, and HawgDawg, his English Pit Bull. Our neighborhood is semi-rural; our road is a dirt road and we have only a few neighbors. Our town, Combine, is a small community just east of Dallas, TX. The nearest store is the corner market about a mile away, but if we need to do serious shopping, we have to drive about 7 miles to get to WalMart or the laundromat. This small inconvenience is made up by the relative peace and quiet and the close proximity of several ponds with excellent fishing. I love it here, in my quaint little cottage. I will hate it when we eventually move. Although that won't happen in the near future, the plans are in the works to move to a larger home, so that I can have a real office.

We live in a quiet little neighborhood. In a nice two story house. Its a rental we shall buy soon as we can. Our family lives here. My parents, my two sisters and me. Our pets 1 dog, 2 cats, 1 hamster, 2 fish, and 2 frogs. :)) The house has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a living room, family room, small kitchen, nice backyard. We have a public pool for the neighborhood (you need a key) and also has a spae. Its all very nice. The city is very hilly all over hills and curves. Very different and still getting used to it. Just moved here last Nov.

I love the house and city where I live. The city is a quiet city and a small city. The house that I live in is small. It is big enough for my husband and I and is all on one floor which I love. The post office is not even two blocks away and the library is right around the corner from the house. The supermarket is two and a half blocks from us and there is a dollar store down from the supermarket. Every place is centerly located and well within walking distance. They even have a McDonalds and a couple of other restaurants in the city. It is a nice quiet place to live.

The apartment we are renting is expensive, however about the right price for the area in which we live in. It has two bedrooms, two baths, walkin closet, living room, dining area and kitchen. Comes with storage and one underground parking spot. We are situated on the second floor in a four storey building. I like the area too. The metro is across the street, and the elementary school is a five minute walk away. The grocery store and shops are about a mile away and the other places like dentist, doctors etc are accessible by bus (10 min ride at the most). We are looking to move later in the year as the rent is going up an extra 5-10% and we really only use half of the apartment. My hubby found this place before we moved to the USA and because of the metro and school being so close, was the reason why he chose it! Its still a really nice apartment anyways and I do like the area.

Our house in the middle of the stree ... our house ( just singing). Anyway our land is about 3 acres wide and our house have two floors. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, wonderful kitchen, dining and living room. We also have a front patio and back deck area (for spring and summer). The neighborhood is safe and quiet like yours, plus we have a waterfall next door. Sounds like a retreat huh?? Anyway I love our house and hopefully someday we'll have our kids here and our kids...kids.

I live in a small farmhouse that has been in my family for three generations. There are six room s and a bath, room enough for me and my father, who moved back in with me two years ago. We also have two dogs, three cats, and a cockatiel that live in the house with us. My house is in the middle of the family farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We don't have a working farm anymore, although there is a market garden and my angora rabbits. I walk to work in the small community, which is filled with tourist shops and I operate one of them. it's about 45 minutes to the nearest large town but I don't mind that. It is very quiet except during the tourist season.

I would love to live in the blue ridge mountains!! I have been dreaming of a place there for quite a few years now.....someday I will have a place there.

Sounds like you are in a wonderful place with everything at hand that you need. I too live in an apartment, though here in the UK we call them flats. Mine is a 2 bedroomed flat, with 1 living room, kitchen and bathroom, so not as big as yours, the grounds are lovely with lots of greenary, grass, trees, flowering shrubs and flowering plants. We are quite close to a lovely shopping centre and about 30 to 40 minutes by train to the coast! Most of my neighbourhood are Christians of various Churches we have in this small town! Generally we have a wonderful community Lynn-Marie

My neighbourhood is very quiet, very few animals. Lots of seniors as well. My house in a yellow house, with an orange door. It had 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms, 1 and a half kitchens(Hehe). I really enjoy my house, it's on a kitty corner too which can be a good thing and a bad thing. It's pretty much central so alot of stores are close.
