I haven't read it but thank you for mentioning it. I read your description in the other post and it sounds very good. I've only read his Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons so far but hope to read more of his. Deception Point sounds very interesting and one that I'd enjoy.

Yes I have read the book. It was a very good book. I like Dan Brown because he really knows how to pull you into the book from the very beginning. I have actually read all of his books. So now I am patiently waiting for a new book to come out.

I like Dan Brown's novels, I think he has interesting plots. I really enjoy the added details of history that he includes. As much of it is history of the catholic church, and I am not catholic I enjoy finding these things out. The inter-twinning of history and fiction is one of my favorite types of reading.

ok- so I think you are talking about The Davinci Code...? This book is awesome HOWEVER if you really liked that you should try Angels and Demons by the same author: Dan Brown. I LOVE how his novels throw you right into the mix right at the beginning. Angels and Demons is set BEFORE the davinci code but was written after it. (now I'm not 100 percent on this but this is the hearsay I offer) Angels and Demons starts off a bit slower than davinci code but I, personally, do believe this to be the better of the two. And leave it to Hollywood to botch a perfectly good book and try to make it into a movie: some things just cannot be illustrated on the screen. A person's imagination can totally out-do hollywood! Another GREAT author is Phillipa Gregory- her novels are about the 16-century english court and so on. She uses real facts and develops a story from them around them. Just like Dan Brown in his novels. Start with "The Other Boleyn Girl" It's about King Henry viii and all his wives but that particular book focuses on the boleyn family. I am now on my 4th or 5th book by her... once you start, it's hard to stop. The other books follow along the same time period.

yes, I am sorry about my response. As soon as I submitted it and went back to the original discussion, I saw you were talking about "Deception Point," the book. for some reason I thought you were describing a book and I didn't look long enough to realize what the heck I was saying! lol I finished another book by P. Gregory. It's like an addiction I don't want to end! haha
