Should College Students do Housework?

I thought that going to college was the start of learning to live on your own away from home. Part of this is doing jobs in the house and learning to pay bills etc. I think that children need to learn to take responsibility for helping in the house, my kids clear the table, help with the hoovering, tidy their toys etc. They donto' do it all the time but when I want help they are expected to do it.

Of course they can do it if they happen to have some house chore at hand. If someone says "students' responsibility is to study well, I would like to ask: Can the students study really well without doing housework? Moreover, I can also say, parents' responsibility are to work well. Then who are to take the obligation of the household?
