What are you basis on choosing candidates this Election?

maybe it's quite late for this year's election but this is still my basis for any election 1. they must have the qualities of a leader - leaders can inspire people and make people do what needs to be done and feel accomlished by doing it - they should have the integrity and honor so we can follow them without hesitation, i don't like people changing parties and jumping to other group because they are uncomfortable in their present group... it is not a quality of a leader to me - they seem knowledgeable in what they are doing 2. i tried to know what their posts are for - senators and congressman are legislative, they should be making law so i consider people who knows something about the law - mayors and governors are executive so they should know how to execute the laws and policies applicable to their areas 3. i look at their histories - if in small things they have been faithful, i can trust that they will be faithful in bigger things 4. they don't tell things destructive to other fellow leaders... if they keep on attacking the leaders with them, how could people respect the leaders, they should know they will be sitting in the same post and people should look up to them... so people who keep on saying negative things even if it is the truth is definitely out of my list or if they have other saving qualities are on the bottom of my lists of considerations
