I was in the kitchen cooking and one of the utensil drawers was stuck. Something was blocking the drawer from opening. I tried tugging, I got a hold of the bottom and shook it, nothing. I prayed and asked the Lord to open the drawer. Then God told me in my spirit for me to command the drawer to open. I felt silly put I knew that we had that authority in Jesus name. So I spoke to that drawer and commanded that object that was blocking the drawer from opening to move in Jesus name. I tried to open it and nothing. Then God said touch the bottom again and shake it. I verily touched it and the drawer came open. That blessed me so much. "Praise the Lord!" Jesus is so patient in teaching us, I praise Him. If you have a story of what Jesus has taught you then share it here with us all to be blessed. Thank you Jesus for all.

Well God does care about all the little details of our lives. I have heard of other people trusting God for all the little details but I never use to thing to bother Him with them. But it works. He has done several small favors for me like this. I get blessed every time.

Because it was stuck, I could not budge it at all. The drawer would not open even a little bit. When I tried to shake it I could not really shake anything because the whole drawer was stuck. No moving it back and forth, nothing. After the drawer came open i saw what was blocking it and their was no way it would have just shook loose, because I was verily able to even shake it from underneath. I would have had to have the drawer open just a little then try and push it back and forth to get that object moved. But like I said it would not open at all. Some thing you just know in your spirit. And I know it was not me that opened that drawer.

But how do you know, the drawer didn't just finally dislodge which is more probable.

This sounds excellent. I know God has been there for me more times then I can count. I am glad my mother was here today because I had a hard time getting out of bed today. my body was stiff and am still in back pain but there are times I have a really hard time getting out of bed. As soon as I did get up I thanked God I was ok and someone was here to help me out of bed. It scares me when this happens

Thanks for sharing and may God be blessed for He is awesome. He taught me this week again to be obedient and trust Him. I had to go to school on Monday to give Bible classes. It was my first time ever and I was excited about doing it because I know that God has called me for ministery. I missed dialysis treatment on Friday and by Sunday I was feeling very tired and sick. I thaught of contacting the school to cancel Monday but God just urged me to go and give class. I woke up early Monday morning and felt very tired. I just kept on praying and got ready to go. All of a sudden I just felt like I have never been sick in my life. I felt great. I gave the classes and had a wonderfull day, just feeling blessed. God is so good. Praise Him always.

Bless your heart girl! God teaches us to be obedient in the little things doesn't He. Over time, we learn, if we have opened our ears to His voice, that He teaches us with the smallest things. I believe it's His way of teaching us how to be obedient to His voice, teaching us to recognize Him when he whispers to us. Much too often we doubt what we hear is Him. I can fill a shelf with books about the wonderful blessings He has annointed my family and me with. Some were hard lessons but blessing none-the-less. Some were simple child-like blessing but touched my heart in a profound way. If others could see and experience and hear His might and His power we would all be much better off. Praise God that you are open to his whispers.

Yes, He does teach us with the simple things and we get the most blessing from them. It is like He is reminding us that cares for us in every area. And that He hears every prayer that we pray.

Back in 1997 my husband was having a lot of trouble with management at the post office where he works. In fact he lost three months without pay because two of the supervisors were telling absolute lies about him which anybody who knew my husband knew they weren't true. He finally got to go back to work and Christmas Eve that same year he received all the money he had lost plus back pay. I'll have to admit my husband handled it better than I did. He kept busy at home helping take care of things while I continued typing with my medical transcription. The blessing was that we never missed a bill payment that whole time. The Lord took care of us even though my faith faltered some. I was asking "Lord why is this happening to Steve, you know he hasn't done the things they are saying." My husband said we have to have faith, and he was right. The Lord showed me, "I'll take care of you and meet all your needs. You may not have everything you want, but you will have what you need." A few months after that one of the men my husband was working with was going through some troubles of the same nature with the management. I just felt like the Lord was telling me to let this man know I was praying for him. One night my husband had to go over to the union office to help with some issues that was going on including this man's case. I had to call and ask my husband something and, again, I felt led to let this man know I was praying for him and his situation. I said "Lord if Mike answers the phone I'll know this is really you and not just something that is coming from me." When I called the office guess who answered the phone, it was this gentleman named Mike. I told him "Mike I know your case is coming up shortly and I just want you to know that I'm praying for you that everything will work out." He told me how much he appreciated it. A few days later his case came up with the arbitrator and, Praise the Lord!!, he won his case. I don't take any credit at all, if I hadn't spoken with him and prayed with him the Lord could have given the burden to someone else. I'm thankful he gives us chances to do His will. God Bless You!! Praise God in this situation. And the many other situations he handles everyday that we sometimes don't even recognize. It is always good to have confirmations that it is from God, like you received when Mike answered the phone, giving you confirmation in what you were about to say. It is great when we allow God to do his will through us. That's right, he gets all the credit for allowing us to do his will. May God continue to bless you.

The winter before last, my sister, daughter, and myself, were travelling by van to visit my niece (my sister's daughter) at university. It was a bitter cold day, and we had about a 4 - 5 hour drive ahead of us. My sister stopped for gas before we were to get onto the highway, and the automatic window became stuck, and the window was rolled down, with the freezing cold air coming in. A service station would've taken hours to repair this, and we only had one night, and part of the following day to see my niece. My sister kept hitting the button, but the window wouldn't budge. I sat there silently praying, and said to my sister to try it one more time. She did, and the window rolled all of the way up. We were able to go on our weekend, and I believe God closed that window for us.

Yes, we have to count our many blessing one by one. Whether they are small or big. And to be sure to give him public praise for his blessing just as you have done here. I always try to give God all the Glory, Honor and Praise publicly for his many blessings he has given me.
