I would recommend that you bought the online piano course - learn and master piano - In my opinion this is the best piano course on the market today - go read a review about it before you buy - the internet is full of them - for instance at http://www.learnpianoreview.com/learn-and-master-piano.aspx

It's never too late to learn a new skill. All you need is a good teacher, a positive attitude, and the discipline to keep on practising when the novelty wears off, and it seems to get boring. Scales and studies will seem boring, but you'll need to practise these properly to build your technique, so that you'll eventually be able to play the kind of music you enjoy. I wish you all the best, and hang on in there!!

My mom is 69 and only recently started learning piano. No - it is not too late. I think the easiest way would be to learn at your own pace, using an "online" course. My mom bought her course after reading the reviews on http://www.reviewsnest.com/PianoLessons . The site tested many courses, and posts their reviews of several sites (If you want to buy, however - they'll refer you to the seller, as they don't sell anything themselves). The course my mom uses is the eBook+DVD bundle of their winner (oops - forgot his name. "Mister..." something), and she says it is easy for her to use and very thorough. Good luck :)

Go for it! It might take a little longer to learn as generally the younger you are the easier it is, but anyone can learn at any age with motivation and perserverance!

absolutely not...i took lessons a couple of years ago with my kids (our teacher spent a half an hour with each of us & the bonus was that we got ours for FREE :-) but look into music lessons in your area & you will find that they have piano classes for adults as well good luck!!
