Well, eat your hearts out Chelsea! That'll teach you to play for time in extra time, when you're not good enough to beat the Liverpool goalie on penalties. That was exciting... I've got to get my breath back now, and I'm not even a Liverpool supporter. ha ha ha. They did deserve the win though. I know the disallowed goal was very marginally offside, but it was created and a good try by them. The trouble was, the Chelsea defenders were all facing the wrong way. lol. Come on then, Liverpool. Show them all what you're made of in the final. Wooohoooooo!!!

was really painful losing to liverpool twice.mourinho makes we the fans foolish and are made to eat his spoken words:liverpool retorted the other day and said maybe it's good to win the league cup after investing 500 million pounds, mourinho started it anyway calling liverpool a small club playing for the champions league alone.now where does that leave us the fans?i tell you it gets more painful hearing these headlines and the agony gets difficult to erase!seems your still basking in the euphoria?know exactly how you feel and it's wonderful,we need to shut our traps the more

you're right darkwing i am a chelsea fan.i remember when your team leeds got there too;what fine football they played!i was supporting them for the trophy.with alan smith, viduka and harry kewell they were awesome.and the champions league final may the best team win.the thing is that watching that match makes me remember the night at anfield and know we should have been the ones there.you're right it's just a game but most times it's more than a game.May the best team too win the FA Cup

Well.. it may have gone to extra time, but you GOT it!!! The first F.A. Cup final played at the new Wembley Stadium. That will have to go down in history! Happy now??? Way to Go Chelsea!!! Yes, I'm afraid Leeds miss those three players playing together. There was a bit of a hiccup with the Australian boys at one time, but I'm glad we didn't let them go then. Alan Smith was always my favourite, but Viduka... WOW, did you see that goal against Arsenal which prevented them winning the league a couple of years ago. VIDUKAAAAAAAAAA!!! Brilliant. Harry Kewell blew a bit hot and cold, but my eyes are on Eddie Lewis now. He's American and I think one of our top three players but he doesn't get noticed for what he is. One minute, he'll be in defence, winning the ball, and the next, down the other end, taking a shot on goal. Good player, that one. I hope he stays. We have our hearing at the beginning of June, so keep your fingers crossed for us, please, Xmanifold.

From what you've said, I'm assuming you're a Chelsea fan Xamnifold. I hope I'm right. Please don't take too seriously the banter that goes on between managers. It's really only like two boxers at the weigh-in, giving it all the hype. Football is only a game when it comes down to it, and you should support it such. Losing isn't that serious. I've had to become used to it, as a Leeds fan. ha ha ha. At least, you got to the semi-finals, which isn't a bad thing. It's a pretty good place to be considering that's out of all the European teams. So, chin up!!! There's always the F.A. Cup!!! :-)

oh no! Not you as well! My niece and neighbour support Manu U and my nephew Liverpool. The times I have had to get inbetween the kids when those two teams play! As to all football teams I would like more English players in the teams. Whatever their ancesteral origin, those born here, I mean, in case people get the wrong idea. We fill our top teams with overseas players and then when we are in an international we have lost most of the best players, which are then playing for teams who beat us, and into the bargain they know all the psychology and playing moves of their team mates, who are still playing for England! PS I will be glad when the Tennis starts hugs, waving white flat

oh no, I wish I had never got into this discussion, I have two other friends who support Leeds so I know what has happened, what I do not understand is why there is nobody associated with that team that can restore the sense of pride and superb ability into those players. I have done a lot of mopping up and shoulder lending this season, and got bashed between the niece and nephew. Dare I wave a white flat and confess to supporting West Ham?

I don't support Liverpool.. it's the loud people on the internet who keep shouting about Chelsea or Man Utd winning the quadruple that get me! lol. Soooooo, I supported Liverpool. I don't have much to shout about with my team, Leeds United... they're going down again, so normally, I would yell for a Brit team whoever they were in the Championship League. But, I draw the line at those two teams... Liverpool are gonna win now! Wooooooohoooooooo. Thank you for your response and Brightest Blessings, my friend. x :-)

Of course... I don't mind West Ham at all, and I think Trevor Brooking is great, even if he does waffle on like an old woman. ha ha ha. I was also a Billy Bonds fan... never took my eyes off him when West Ham were playing. he he he Did you know about the Leeds liquidation, and sell out?

Congratulations to Liverpool. Good luck for the final. Was it last year they had the great come back in the final or was it two years ago? We were trying to decide at work the other day. One of the blokes is a Liverpool supporter I would have thought he would have remembered!

I believe it was two years ago Magicalmerlin. I really do hope they can do it again, because Milan supporters tend to think they cheated or fluked it! Let's back them all the way home to Merseyside with the CUP!!! Come onnnnnnnnnnnnn youuuuuuuuuuu Re-eddddddddddddds!!!

lol. It was a good victory over Chelsea. I missed this discussion at first, but yeah I think Liverpool can go all the way and win the final on Wednesday. There will be lots of joy in our house if they win. Lots of tears if they don't. It will be good final I'm sure Milan will be a very difficult oppononent as they are out for revenge. Hopefully liverpool will have enough to win

Yes, it was a good victory over Chelsea, who seemed to think that if they played time out, they would win on penalties. They should have learned from last year's F.A. Cup Final, that penalties is not the way to go against the 'Pool. I'm backing Liverpool all the way on Wednesday. I really hope they can make it, as indeed, Milan will be out for revenge for them beating them the last time they met in the final. Come onnnnnnnnnnn yoooooooou Re-eddddddddddddds! :-) Oooops, did I say that? he he he

Well I'm not a footie supporter but my dad, brother and husband are all crazy about Liverpool and I was down the pub with my brother yesterday with some friends as it was his birthday and he was over the moon when Liverpool one. It was really noisy in the pub and I couldn't help get into the mood of things and cheered with everyone else although it was a big scary as people were jumping up and down and I honestly thought all the drinks were going to get spilt LOL! Yes, WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO! x
