I've never had to get a second opinion because I've never been diagnosed with anything serious. But I personally think every one should get a second and third opinion. Many doctors inaccurately diagnose people. Statistics show that a large percentage of the deaths in hospitals are due to the hospitals mistakes. For all of my family illnesses, we are now consulting physicians that do not believe in surgery and only use natural cures..ie herbalists ect.. The whole pharmaceutical, medical , government thing is a conspiracy from hell. I have read that the pharmaceutical companies are paying off government to allow highly fatal antibiotics that are designed to keep you sick so they can continue to make money. It is said that the children's mandatory vaccines are packed with 400 times the safe dosage amount of mercury. This is where autism,Asthma and Learning disabilities in children come from....Its all just a business"for the love of money". I would recommend not going to doctors that believe in prescribing those chemical medications....Read Kevin Trudeau's "Natural cures revealed they don't want you to know about" book.

This start of summer, my daughter and I will be going for a second opinion for her scoliosis. Back surgery is not something to take lightly and I want to make sure that we make the best decision. And given that the Shriner doctors are some of the best doctors out there for children and spinal issues...this is going to be our second opinion. :)
