To love someone you should love yourself ??

I Had this one boyfriend who always used to say it is important to love yourself if you want to love your surroundings or if you want to love yourself.I think this is true to some extent.To love somebody you should know the meaning of love and it shows directly from here that how you treat and manage yourself.If you love yourself You are going to take care yourself in a better manner.What you think of it?

there is no point in ur suggestion, i dont believe that people should love themselves before loving somebody else instead i say the person close to u make u feel wat actually a love is, so urs is pointless
