Is Birthday a day to celeberate?

dear Friend, Not really I dont think so..I feel age is reducing on every birth so what ti celebrate..As it is day as every day..So nothing is so Special on that day.. But it is always special for us As I like to give wishes to Dear Friend..And I like to see birthday boy/girl happy...So I dislike to celebrate my birth but love to celebrate other birthdays very much..

your friend is right,there is no meaning to celebrate birthday for oldman,oldwoman like your friend and me.it's just remind me older than last year and many things still not be done yet.

Yes i think it is a day to celebrate because it is the day that you were brought in to this world. It is the day that you took your first breath. It is also the day that you brought the most joy to your parents. I make shure I celebrate the day of my birth.

To all Taureans "Happy Birthday" My birthday falls on 4th May... I am happy to reach another birthday but at the same time sad cos I cannot turn back the clock. I will be a year older but not necessarily be a year wiser. The beauty of yerteryears will soon fade and grey hairs will start sprouting.

For me, a birthday is a day to celebrate. In my own opinion, seeing birthday as another year less to live is biased on a pessimists point of view. On an optimists point of view, it another year of living life and learning things from mistakes. For me it should be celebrated to celebrate the accomplishments and failures that will make you better for the next years.

Oh please! I will celebrate my birthday even if ai am old and gray haired. I normally look back at my achievements, the friends I have and lost,and enjoy the day and thank GOd for friends and family. Incidentally, my mother never remembers my birthday but I got so used to it, it became the norm from childhood. My last birthday, I did get a few presents but a coworker and I shared the same day and I made her a banner and a card. A friend bought me a blouse and I bought a pair of shoes to match it. I had also got moved to a new desk with a new boss who bought me lunch. So its a good day to celebrate and not one to think of in a negative light. We have som much t be thankful for. Do you knwo that a lot of people get buried on their birthday or die on their birthday? So whenever I live to see another birthday I amke the most of it. i do hope next year I will ahve a special guy to share it with though. So Ann, enjoy your birthday and let no one spoil it for you whenever it comes. I for one will try to send you something special!! Your friend may have swallowed some bile and was in a bad mood. Grey hairs are nothing! I have been having them since 5 years old although my brothers would pull them out and now I have two lovely ones in the front of my hair. IT says nothing!
