actually, it depends on the company where you'll be working. my personal opinion on my company is that it isn't worth it bec of the stress and we are even required for mandatory OT's.

i don't work in a call center and i even started a thread here about working in a call center coz basically i don't know what it is reall working their, the pros and con of it, i say i somehow have an idea what it feels like coz i used to work in an outsourcing company and works in a night shift, it is rather tempting because of high pay compared to what i am receiving now with my current company but i think i could not afford to work in a call center anymore,i don't need the pressure and stress that comes with the high pay.

honestly, i still can not see where the stress can come from. don't call center agents just answer calls and queries?

this is probably more specifically related to the specific occupation the call center is operating for. The call center I work for is operating for Shapes Salon & Day Spa(shapesdayspa.com)and I dont feel short changed at all. The pay is not high but i love the people I work with and i'm good at my job.

Depends on the call center...the one im working im my opinion is that the agents are over-worked and under-paid.Its really sad and unfair.

On my personal opinion, it is NOT really worth the high salary because of the stress.
