do you submit tags when you respond to a discussion?

I try to always tag discussion but sometimes i just cannot think of anything to put in it and sometimes the ones that come to my mind have already been listed by oother members.

If it would be a must, there wouldn't be a skip button ;). Myself I do tend to tag quite a lot as it helps archiving discussions for other people as well, not sure if it pays extra or not.

last time when i was still new i usually tends to skip the tagging things.it is because i thought it is just wasting time since you have to think of suitable tags.besides i am just lazy to insert the tags.so that time i would prefer skipping to submit the tags.a few weeks ago i read a discussions on this. i read the responses from senior members in mylot.they all suggest it is better to submit the tags.this is because it gives your responses and discussions more exposure.so more people will notice the discussions and response towards it.but you have to make sure you submit the appropriate tags too not just usually simply submit something not related to your contents. so after that i make sure all my responses and discussions are do well tagged.it is better to be more precautious.but i am not sure whether we do get paid for submitting tags.this question i think you need to ask mylot admins.but there is nothing to lose if you submit the tags. it is better to make it more systematic.because sometimes our earnings and star rating drops all of sudden.i do not think i want to take that risk.so i suggest you better start submitting the tags for your discussions and responses.best of luck and enjoy yourself in mylot

I usually take into consideration the tags that are already there, if I can see a tag that I feel would add to those interested in the discussion I will add it, but if I saw the tags alread there cover the topic and what I posted then I'll just skip tagging it. The tags already added here seem to cover the question and answers posted so I won't add a new tag to this.

I don't know about that but I tag all the time.Better safe than sorry!hehe

i always using tags every time to improve my own discussion or another member topic discussion and will give you plus sign to earning include if we give people reply discussion with plus sign or negative, i try not using tag and i found my earning more difficult to increase, this over 8 month a go since i first time join with mylot, but till now i never experiment again;) but i feel yes they still can give plus earning for you.

I do tag my discussions or I use one of the tags I already made if the subject has some similarity. The only time I do is when I pressed the enter key or the post rectangular too fast and do not want to go back. I do not know if we get paid more, but if we do, I had better not press the post rectangular that fast.

I do submit tags when i respond to a discussion i think its very necessary to submit a tags before choosing another discussions to respond to.I do follow all the guidelines here on mylot and i think there is no problem when you submit a tag or not.It depends on you.

Tags makes our discussions easier to find, thus the more chances they are commented to. I'm not sure about the compensation issues but the more tags we put the better the chances that it will come up with the related discussions list appearing below every threads.

Submitting tags doesn't affect your pay directly. What it does is give people an easy way to search for your discussions. I tend to tag the heck out of everything I write. Any word or phrase I might use to search for a topic I try to include in the tags. Of course, you can only submit 10 tags for one discussion. When I've rambled on and been very detailed, sometimes I can come up with 15! I figure, if it isn't specific enough to search for then why bother posting it for responses here. I'd just write it out on my blog.
