I won't go into details but he was fairly mean to our kids and I last night and we (the kids and I) got our feelings hurt. My oldest made the ever so common comment "I HATE HIM" I explained to her that We love daddy very much but just because he does or says somthing that hurts our feelings doesn't mean we stop loving him." She seemed not to understand this concept at the moment but after an hour of comtemplating this she said to her father " I love you dad very much but i don't like you" LOL! I think it it home to him and he apologized to her. He's still is the dog house with me though! I think i need some flowers a butterfinger crisp candybar and an I'm sorry so make things right! LOL!

Every family has issues, but I think you handled your daughter's reaction very well. It is important that children understand unconditional, genuine love and learn not to "love" someone only when he or she makes us happy. I think you set a very good example. Kudos to you for not making disparaging comments about your husband in front of your children, as this is often tempting (yet terribly unhealthy) to do. I'm glad your husband apologized to your little girl and I hope he'll do the same for the other children and for you. Yeah, and I'd at least push for the candy... LOL

My fiancee is like that sometimes but I think that the things that they say they will regret. I think that sometimes their anger takes over and boom they start yelling at ever one. You are totally right, dont forgive him until he prove to you that he is sorry! LOL

my parents are constanly in odds with each other....they are not at all compatible for each other....but they are staying together just for me and my sister. at least ur husband scolds or yells at ur kids. my dad never gives us that much importance to even yell at us, except in matters related to educaion. he isn't bothered ....and with time...even i have learnt to remain aloof.!

I think he should beg for your forgiveness if he still like to be with you. Unless he want to have a new girl friend or he should kneel down and show his real heart of being with you.

Sometimes it happen... there is no perfect relationship just like there is no perfect man... but the important things is that you both can adjust to the negative sides of each other... I guess you can talk to him about it... Help him to realize his mistake... youre his wife... he's depending on you to be with him in everything... even in changing himself and transforming his self to a better man...

Hello Caila. I hope yyour day get better before it is over. I'm sorry to hear about your other half. They can be so frustrating at times. I for one believe that it is ok to not like some one sometimes. It is so different from loving. My kids have sometims told me they hate me whenI wouldn't let them do something. I always tols them that it was ok because I still loved them But I might also tell them I didn't like how they were acting. And when they were oldenouth to understand the difference I could tell them that I didn't like them at the moment ether. I think they have to learn that it is ok to fee the way they do as long as they understand the difference.
