Suggestions on writing a Novel~?

I've been thinking lately about writing a novel, my first one ever..I was wondering about any suggestions, recommendations, advice, etc, that anyone may have on beginning, keeping the suspence, etc....Anything to help~?

Maybe you can write a novel starting with a historical period that you love and starting a love novel in that time.

Mmmm I can guess a little of the style and some chapters from that novel, I think... Join "help building the mylot book" under "things I want to do with my life" there is a discussion there wel we were sharing ideas for novels, you might like it.
