I decided to join weight watchers for sure and last night I did it. I am exicited and scared at the same time. I have let everyone in my family know I have joined so if I fall on my face (which I am not going to do) they will tell me I told you so. I am curious if there are any other weight watcher members in mylot land. If so are you following the core or flex plan? What made you decide to pick that one? Has anyone lost weight with weight watchers in the past and kept it off? I need a cheerleading squad on this one too. I was not to happy when they weighed me last night.

I will be cheering you on Linda. Once you start to loose the weight you will be inspired to carry on.
I have been doing a fitness class for the last 3 weeks and already I am reclaiming back some muscles that I thought I had lost forever. This has encouraged me to also watch what I eat and I am beginning to see the difference.
Anytime you need inspiration, pm me and I will give you some encouragement.
Put a photo of yourself on your fridge when you were at the size you want to be now and that will stop the temptation!!LOL

Good for you for taking that major step, just think the worst bit is over and done with you made that giant step to join, that's the hardest bit a lot of people find making the move to join and go along and keep up regular sessions. For me personally I find it hard to diet and can't so I do exercise instead which has the desired results. If you combine weight watchers with some extra exercise you will achieve the results you so want. Remember it won't happen over night, give yourself incentives, treats and achievable weight loss goals and finally GOOD LUCK to you.

Congratulations. I have been a member of South Australian Weight Watchers for 2 years. I am Treasurer at the moment & it is a big job.
I initially lost weight, but it slowed down after 10 months. I am trying hard now to loose more.
I need to do some walking.

I have thought about going on Weight Watchers but honestly I added up the cost and it was too expensive. I am just trying to lose weight on my own by watching how much I eat, what I eat, and by becoming more active and lifting weights. But good luck to you! I hope you do well (as I hope that i do well as well!)
