Right now, the Internet had turned out to become the world's most famous medium for making acquaintances, friends, and even partners. I would just like to know, how many of you guys had really found the right people worthy of trust and confidence over the internet? How many of you had actually found the love of their life here? Is it really possible to meet good people over the world wide web or is it a long, tedious, and painstaking process? I would really like to find out!

I think people do. I haven't but i think its because of what role the internet is in my life, i would say its becoming famous because its so useful at gathering like minded people. I think in life and on the internet if you look for friends or love you will find friends or love.. how open do you feel like you can be on the internet? Maybe not enough. I have friends through internet but noone that I email, chat on msn with mainly through sites like mylot.

Exactly. I could be open, but there's always that weird feeling that the one you are talking to is hiding a lot from you. Worse, they are just taking advantage.

Yep I can say I have found the love of my life on the internet.I wasnt loking for love it just happened, we met in a game room and talked for months before we realized we both had some feelings for each other. well to make a long story short we met a few times I moved in with him (he loved 14 hours away) two years later we got married and have been happy ever since. I also have made some pretty good friends on the internet and speak to and e-mail daily sometimes we even talk on the phone.
