what would you do in your spare time if your computer suddenly breaks down and you couldn't afford a new one? :) i think i'd be bored to death. probably i'd begin to study and read more. maybe even play guitar:)

Well generally I do manage without one for many days of the week .. when I am away truck driving .. and we did survive without them for many years .. so it would not be any great drama really. Of course people do get used to them .. some people could not live without their computer .. but that would generally apply to the younger generation more than us oldies as we were bought up without a computer. When I am home .. I would be working outside in the garden .. there is always something to be done there .. or else watching television .. or even reading a good book. There is plenty for me to do when I am at home .. and when I am away from home driving or resting between driving the truck .. I would just do the same as I do now. That is simple .. go for a walk or run around the block somewhere .. take a break in the truckies lounge at either the depot, or the place where I am delivering to or even one of the truckies stops. They generally have a television in them .. and so I would relax for a while watching that .. or even talking to the other truckies that might be around.
