Did you see this? This has got to be somewhere in the top 5 of dumbest lawsuits I've ever seen. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18471265/

It's sounds like it is based on pure greed. I wouldn't want that judge presiding over a case I was in.

I read that yesterday and it is soooooo stupid. I mean come on it's a pair of pants and they are worth no where near $65 million. Some people amaze me.

Is this not the craziest thing you've ever heard? I couldn't believe it. I hope he doesn't get it because no pair of pants is worth it.

Yes, I read that...and there should be no case since he is not willing to take his pants back.

This should be thrown out of court. He should not get away with something like this. This man has destoyed their precious life over a pair of pants that can most likely be replaced.

What's worse is that he's a judge, one that has let his "position" make him lose all sense of reason. The report said that the cleaners found the missing pair of pants a few days after the original date they were to be done and tried to return them but the judge refused to accept them. The lawyer for the cleaners now has them in his office. Did you see the part where he's also demanding $15,000 for the cost of renting a car every weekend (for the past 10 years) just so he can take his dry cleaning to another store on the other side of town? It would have been cheaper for him to just move to the other side of town instead. LOL

I read this the other day too and it's so ridiculous. I think some people take "the principal of it" too far. This dude needs to be disbarred for something this ridiculous. Mistakes happen. It would be great if every business were perfect, but human beings do run them, so not everything can be perfect. I'm sure this guy isn't a perfect judge (obviously), but apparently he is in his own eyes.
