I have high speed and I am going to fall asleep here

Im glad you mentioned that its happening to me too.LOL I thought it was my computer and Im glad its not.LOL When it gets like this I get really aggraviated dont you? I think you should take a nap go ahead go for it. If it keeps this up I will be getting off here real soon.

I also have highspeed .I find it is slow at times also.I'm not sure why this site should be so slow when other sites move right along.I have found that some times of the day this site moves faster then other times.I wonder if it has anything to do with the number of people using it at any given time.I would assume if more people were using it it would be slower then times when less use the site. hugs

Hi Margie, yes sometimes Mylot is extremely slow and you are like me and I bet for others where we nearly fall asleep I think it could be due to the amount of members on here the load that mylot has to take at times.

I'm not really noticing any slowness. Maybe it is a connection problem you are having?

oh it's been slow today it's either nobody is onbecause it's Friday! I have done all the discussions that my friends started and I have been waiting for more but haven't seen any more emails oh well I guess I'll go look around and see if I can look at other discussions. When mylot is slow I just go do something else otherwise I will be wasting a lot of time waiting for the pages to load. And most of the time it's when you also lose your discussions. It happened to me sometimes. I would write a long answer/discussion and when I go to post it it's gone! This happens when mylot is being updated. I was frustrated everytime it happened when I had less than 500 posts. Now that I have more than 500 posts I can copy and paste so when I write a lot I save the discussion before hitting the post button. Yes when it's slow go to sleep or do something else. That's what I think. Take care!

Yes it has been slow for me for the last couple of Days so I think it must be the Site itself and I know that a few others have the same problem to lol I think you should go to sleep for a bit and come back later

It has been Very slow at times here. I have been wondering at times if it is my connection because I have high speed also. So, I will open another tab and go to Yahoo to see how fast it loads. When it loads fine...I know it is not my connection. I wonder...as our community reaches closer to the 100k population...if the myLot servers are able to handle that number of people. Or are we experiencing the slowness die to them working on the system. But hey, I am with ya...there are times that I want to fall asleep too and have almost had my keyboard imprinted on my forehead! ha ha

I have found mylot slow at times in the past but it is not to bad today. In fact I am toggling between two tasks tonight and that is not even bogging it down.

MyLot has always been very slow for me .. I am used to whizzing along and then it's a snails pace here .. I use more than one browser window .. I am replying to one discussion while thinking about the next .. and waiting for tags on a third .. why we have those tags is beyond me .. I never find anything I am looking for with them ..

All I have is dial-up; so , of course, it is slow. BUT, I use the time in between to do other things, like read a book or get a snack or take a bathroom break.

I have no problem with myLot's speed. Are you on dial up or broadband connection? I am using broadband connection and the speed is quiet fast. Do you experience this during specific periods. may be there are more users logged on at that time. myLot has more than 90K registered users and that is quiet a lot.
