Urgent and very worried

Hi everybody, this is a unusual discussion, and I'm not sure that it is even allowed here on MyLot, but one of my friends have been absent for more than a week.
He is not the type of person to just take off, without letting his friends know. I have received private messages from my other friends asking me if I know anything, and then I decided it is time to do a search, maybe another friend of his will be able to shed some light as to his silence and absence.
We are looking for my Swedish friend fjaril, I'm including his Avatar as a picture.

I thought you meant missing from home at first. I am glad another user sussed you just meant on MyLot - I did wonder about the avatar. Does nobody have his e-mail address at all? Or know of any other programs that he belongs to? I hope he turns up to ease your mind. He will be pleased to know that people care so much about him.

I must apologize to both of you, and everyone here, I didn't mean it to sound like in real life. When I started the discussion I was very upset, and as you all know we can't go back and edit our discussions, sigh, it would be nice hey?
I started getting worried after two days not seeing him active here, then I received p/messages from my other friends wanting to know where he is, so on the spur of the moment I started the discussion. I hope he is ok, but what makes this whole thing so ironic, not so long ago he had a discussion, about this very same thing.
He wanted to know should something happen to a person, how will that person's friends know here on MyLot. He was another "MyLot addict" like so many of us, so I just find it very strange for him not to let us know, should he be gone for a few days.
I really miss his discussions.

That is what I thought at first too. Has anybody heard from him yet? Hopefully, he is just taking a break and will be back on soon. It is great that you are concerned, just shows you can make real friends on the internet. But, scary when they suddenly disappear.

Annie, I see him in a lot of your discussions so I know who you mean. I don't see how this could be against the rules of mylot since there are people who care. If he uses a computer at home, it is possible that his computer broke, or he could have the flu. Keep tabs on him and I will be praying for him.

...sometimes, when it comes to mylot, I find I will drop off from the face of the planet for awhile.. otherwise, I get nothing else done!:)) Hopefully this, or vacation, is where your good friend is.

Oh I hate it when we are worried like this, I was worried about Dianel and Misty once because the pms were not going through. I do hope you find him soon and have you pmed him lately? I do hope he sees this discussion and replies to you soon. We have become quite a close family here on Mylot and I know exactly how you feel. I will pray for you and keep my eyes peeled, I do know exactly where you are coming from.

Hi there...
Yes i know him, he isn't on my friend's list but i saw his reply to some of your posts. I guess you may give him another week, sometimes people just encounter either personal problems that won't allow them 2 log in for a few days or they just get tired of the net thing, you know being connected to others just electornically i mean it is nice but still it isn't like a real encounter. I hope he makes it back soon.
Maybe close friends on myLot, well i mean online in general, must have another mean of communication, i mean other than net. It is okey if the person is just a net buddy but when she/he is a special friend, it would be nice 2 have another method of getting in touch with that person, at least to make sure he's okey, maybe dunno.
BTW we all have our downs when it comes 2 online life, once again, it is a way 2 vent but still somehow not real, i guess when each and everyone of us touches that string, his tendency to get away gets stronger. This is a valid topic for a separate discussion.

I know fjaril. Maybe he is just tired of myLot? Try emailing him if you have his email. I don't recall anything strange in his discussions - I did check his discussions again. Nothing seems amiss.

Maybe he is just out on vacation!!! I did go through the links and nothing seems to be offensive.... maybe your friend is taking a vacation from Mylot due to severe deterioration of quality posts.... Why not you mail him, but if he is on vacation he will not be replying till he is back. I am not his friend so can not help you out my dear but I hope all is well and he replies back to you soon. It's teh most worrying of worries when you meet people online, you get so used to seeing them around all the time. I do hope you find him annie, and find him well.
