Do you believe that silence always means yes? For me it doesnt always means yes, it may also means no but its better left unsaid. What about you, does silence means yes to you?

Silence doesn't always mean yes. I agree that it sometimes depend on the question and sometimes when we are just silent we just couldn't say no. I experience this a lot of tomes with my friends. I just couldn't say no or disagree so I just keep quiet. Most of my friend can actually tell if it's a no silence or a yes kind of silence though. But if I'm the one who's going to get a silence as an answer, I'll look at the facial expression. I can tell based from how they react.

Right you are. I also think it is better to consider the body language and facial expressions of a person to guess what is in his mind.

No it does not mean yes and it does not mean no to me it means that the Person is still thinking about it and digesting it And then after a few Days if there is no yes or no then I guess I will accept that it is better unsaid

For me, silence means that someone simply doesn't want to deal with a question or situation. Depending on the look on the person's face, the silence could possibly be taken to be positive, if the person maybe had a smile or something like that. But then again, it could be that the person is playing and being smug.

i don't think that silence means yes..it doesn't follow..it's just sometimes, it's hard for us to say no or yes..and it also depends upon the situation girl..like me, i'm a lady of few words..hehehe.. i hardly decide things on my own,so, i wanted to be silent than uttering a word..lol

for me personally, usually silence does mean yes. it's when i'm feeling a bit shy to admit whatever it was that caused the silence haha..

To me silence means no. I think when a person is silent they want to say no but just hate to say it. If they wanted to say yes to something they would just come out with a yes.

silence for me means no more often than it means yes. because it is easier to say yes than to say no. if the person agrees with you saying yes is a breeze. if the person is not in agreement with you or is reluctant to say no, silence always follows.

For me, I am not the type to rave around like a mad woman when I am angry, thus, I prefer to be silence. It is best that I don't open my mouth 'cos when I do so means I am supre cross!! Definitely, is a no for me!

i guess silence mean ... Maybe yes Maybe No.. :) well silence mean we don't know what to say or we don't know the answer... somekind like that. when somebody sure what he/she will answer, they definetly gonna answer it instead of silence :)

often people just stay quiet in conversations or confrontations because they don't want to argue that why they remain silent it doesn't mean that they agree in whatever you say but uit's more on respect and they sometimes play safe so that no arguments will arise.
