I started a new job, but because I was sick with a cold my granddaughter gave me, they decided that I was not suitable yesterday. To make matters worse, I left $25 in the pocket of the company shirt that I gave back and I'm too proud to go and ask for it. And now the cold medicine I am taking has had an adverse reaction, and I've been sitting on the throne for half the night. My grandson who was supposed to go to hisstep father for theday decided he'd rather stay at home with me, and won't let me sleep. And now I went to make coffee and my coffee maker won't work. It doesnot bode well for the rest of the day, or weekend. The only good thing isthat itssunny and not raining like the past 3 days.

Sorry that you are having such an awful time, I do understand as it seems problems never seem to come in one unless you call a stream of problems one stream. I do hope you feel better soon, and I would phone about the $25 it is your money and why let some schnook have it , Your chances of getting it back are close to nil, but in my opinion worth a chance. who knows maybe your luck will take a turn for the better.

yeah, i agree with robinj, that you should ask for the money which you had left at the pocket of the shirt. after all, $25 is some money which you can use for something/s.

Wow. You are really having a bad time. I hope things get better real soon. I hope you being able to share your experience with your friends here at MyLot has helped. I'd also call and tell them about the $25 you left in the shirt pocket. Lloyd

My grandson hasnow come down with the same virus I have, so, its not a cold. Not quite wure what it is, but I would like to be able to stay away from the toilet for an hour(lol). We are going to run out of TP. The good news, is tha at least we aren't throwing up.

well, as they say, when it rains it pours. it is good though that at least there is still this good thing left for you to enjoy, which are the sunny days. too bad though, that you started your day 1 at work with an illness. may you recover from it soon. good luck in the days ahead especially at work.
