Do you think you have an addiction to buying/wearing Make Up?

I used to be like that. I used to have addiction on buying makeup. I wear makeup almost everyday too (to work and whenever I go out). I used to think makeup items were not enough, I kept on reading magazines to see the new releases, buying new colors, trying new brands...etc. until one day when I cleaned out my drawers, there were too many makeup items un-used and untouched. I thought to myself "what a waste". Now I just don't let myself buy that many because it's really hard to "use up" a makeup item, therefore, I would think about what I need instead of what I want before buying.

Certainly, I don't have any addiction when it comes to buying or wearing make-ups. However, I do put on some light make-up whenever I'm going out somewhere like if there's a special occasion or events.

When I was working I wouldn't go out of the house without putting my face on ... if I had a really nice eye shadow or foundation I'd hate it when it ran out .. you never seem to be able to get such a nice one again .. Then I had to have an operation on my right hand .. and was in a massive 'joke' sized bandage for 2 weeks .. and unable to use it properly for another 5-6 weeks ... so I couldn't put make up on .. at first I felt 'naked' going on without putting my 'slap' on .. but after a few weeks my skin was so much better .. I looked healthier .. and I;ve never really bothered to use any since then .. and that's 17 years ago ...

I love my make-up, and I'm not ashamed to say I spend an awful lot of money on it. I have a huge hoard from when I worked at boots that will take me years to use up. I wear make-up every day, even if I'm only nipping down the road to the shop. I don't have good enough self-confidence to not wear it. I am ADDICTED.

I don't believe in wearing makeup. I never believed in wearing makeup, and I never understood why my mother would put on makeup before going out in the evenings. There is nothing on my face that I wish to change or accent. I am happy the way I am, and I ddon't want to change anthing.

yes, i have the same addiction. i even always remember the things i want to buy and not yet have the money and buy it. before i buy it, i keep remember to buy that thing. just like promize.lol

Here I thought I was alone in my addiction! LOL I do have a passion for buying new makeup. I love to try new things and look different then the day before! I don't wear it that often anymore (I am a stay at home mom so it is pointless for me to wear it at home).

No - to be honest, I am not at all. I have to wear make-up all day at work, because I meet the public, and I'm kind of expected to adhere to certain standards of dress and appearance, but, to be honest, I don't like wearing it all the time, so I can't wait for a weekend when I can let me skin "breathe" and not wear any. I gues I will still put on a little lipstick and eye stuff if I go out for dinner on a Saturday night or whatever, but I am certainly not addicted to wearing it all the time.

it so happens that i do not like to wear makeup. i am happy that i was never fond of it. i know how expensive these items are nowadays. if i am into the habit of buying makeup, i am sure that the items i would need will eat up a sizeable amount of my budget.

Umm...YES I do!LOL! I love experimenting with new products and colors and I find it to be my "fun" time! I especially love eye makeup and blush. Oh, and eyebrow products...and lipgloss...I guess that's about everything!LOL! I like my face to look polished because I do live in scrubs and they are not all that flattering, so I like to make sure my face is always very clean and neat. I mostly wear light colors and keep things natural, but one would be surprised how many shades of natural colors there are!LOL! I also love blush because I feel that it livens up my face and gives me a glow:)

not for me lol..i love to look at make ups, and would love to buy them but i have more than enough make ups at home that i don't wear T_T ..when i started working, i used to wear make up but gradually i stopped. because i'm always in a hurry when going out and i don't have time to doll myself up. i have to have powder and lipstick on though. so basically i only wear make up whenever there's an important function hehe though i wish this is not the case hehe..
