I will take Ladanian Tomlinson for the San Diego Chargers.....He is the most complete back in the NFL!

I think that Tatum bell is definately shaping up to be one of the best. A little more time and he will stay at a great 5 yard per carry average.

Thanks for the comment as you are right! I like Tatum Bell but I feel for backs like him cause if he were to get traded and didnt do a whole lot somewhere else he would be victim of you only were that good cause your oline was that good! I think he will be a great football player but just isnt on the level yet of LT,LJ,Alexander etc...

Very true which tells you that there is a difference between and good back and an elite back and it is not the Oline! You can be an elite back in the NFL on a crappy team or with a crappy line! Good job fellas!

LT is definitely among the best in the league. But, running backs are a dime a dozen so there's really not much difference between them.

Really? Okay you may be right but does that mean that if SD put Quentin Griffin or Nick Goings that they would rush for 1500 yards? I think parrity is there but there are definetly tier's of RB's! You know LT,LJ,Alexander, Westbrook etc.... Then you have Tatum Bell,Willie Parker, Chester Taylor so on! So thanks for the comment as parrity is getting better but there are still elite and non elite backs!

Look at any elite back in the NFL and you'll see a solid offensive line in front of him. Sure, some backs are better than others. But, the only difference between a good back and a great one is the blocking in front of him.

Again, a back benefitting from having a good offensive line in front of him. Steve Hutchinson was a great addition for that team.

I am a Steelers fan so I like Willie Parker even though I do not think he is the "best" I think that he is a excellent back. Also I think that Warrick Dunn is great.

I think Brian Westbrook would be right up there if the Eagles would use him more in the running game as well as the short passing game. He is a threat running the ball and receiving the ball and also a threat on kickoffs.

I would have to agree with you but they dont use Brian because he cant stay healthy....I would like to know who is the best RB in the league!
