What is your favorite outdoor activity?

My favorite outdoor activity is going for a walk at the parks. I enjoy going to various parks in my area and doing a lot of walking and sightseeing and enjoying nature. I also like basketball and volleyball outside and going to the beach. Now that I will have a birdbath soon I will get to hopefully enjoy watching birds taking a bath and playing around in the water.

I am with you on this . . . swimming is rejuvenating to the body but there is just something about canoeing slowly along the current right before the sun projects itself into the morning scene that awakens the spirit to a calmness more peaceful than a deep sleep. While canoeing, I can glide through the water as if it were some of my problems in life, and maneuver myself into a resolutive state that keeps me focused and alert. I miss my canoe !lost it in the divorce . . . boo hoo !

Myself, I would be hard pressed to pick between horseback riding and camping....we enjoy so many outdoor activities!

I love to swim. At the pool, the lake, the river, the beach... swimming is one of my favorite outdoor activities. I also enjoy gardening, taking a walk, and just sitting outside on a nice evening to relax with my husband. Picnics and barbecues are pretty cool too after being cooped up indoors all winter.

I like walking along the beach with my dog. While I aslo like swimming and kayaking and bicycle riding, it makes me happy to make my dog so happy with such a simple and easy pass time.

I think gardening & picnicing in national parks would be my favpurite outdoors activity. Gardening is easier, in the sense that I just have to go outside. I prefer gardeing in the pleasant weather. It feels good to see the weeds cleared, & new plants growing. Picnicing in a national park can be very pleasant in autumn or spring. I love to sitt around & admire the environment, & just relax with a cup of coffee.

I so enjoy a lazy Sunday spent on the edge of the river fishing, with a picnic basket, a good book and a funny hat to keep the sun off my face. I enjoy when the whole family goes with us, but mostly I enjoy fishing alone or just my husband and I. We sit there and fish, a lot of the times there is no need for conversation, we just enjoy that we are there together and lost in our own worlds.

I'm not really and outdoors kind of person but sometimes I do like it. I love going camping, because its just so different from being in the city where I live. The other thing I really like to do is go out on the boat and go fishing. Most of the time I will never touch the water but I do enjoy boats! And Jet skis of course.

I'm not exactly your typical outdoors type person but I do enjoy camping and swimming. I love to swim in the sea preferably in hot summer weather and on a great beach.

Well, I hate the outdoors except in winter. I live in Texas so outdoorsy stuff in summer is just too hot for me. Thank God I don't live further south, I would just die from heat stroke. :) Um, I guess in summer time my favorite outdoor activity would be swimming. It keeps you cool, gives you great exercise and is lots of fun. Granted this summer I will be at the park watching my son do t-ball and soccer. I am so not exciteda about being outside so much, but I am looking forward to watchin my son. He is so excited. Oh, and we have 4 sessions of swimming classes so we are going to have a very buys, outdoorsy summer at my house. In winter I love going to the park, I also like raking leaves. I like to rake the leaves and then jump in them. My son loves that too. So, I guess I do have a little bit of love for the outdoors. :)
