How should my daughter wear her hair to prom

We can't seem to find anybody that is not all booked up to do her hair and prom is next saturday night. She has very long, thick hair. It's down to her waist, she used to be able to sit on it but had 10 inches cut off and gave it to locks of love. So her hair is straight and cut even at the bottom. She has a strapless prom dress and I don't know how to do hair. She just usually pulls it all back into a ponytail. Please help!

I prefer long hair,but I being a typical male of 21st century prefer to experiment with everything that i can lay my hands on, with my hair too, i tried a pony tail ones, but i can admit that it didn't looked great on me, so i am back to the normal again . Though if it suits i feel pony tail looks good on some faces. Have a good day.
