Do you have a tattoo? Which part/s of your body has/have a tattoo? Who/What influenced you to have a tattoo? I know that several discussions on tattoos have appeared in mylot already. But I'll ask this one anyway coz i just dug a photo of me when i almost had a tattoo but changed my mind. And I actually can't remember why I didn't get a tattoo. I just know that I find some tattoos on women quite sexy and attractive... but on the last minute at the beach... I decided not to... although I wanted to. The photo attached is the butterfly image on henna that was painted on the upper portion of my breast just above the bikini top line. :)

Personally I have seen too many people that are older now and their tatoos look goofy and the body changes people go through over the years can make some tatoos rather droopy. Over all they just look bad when that happens. My son has tatoos and they they are not very good but he has to put up with them forever unless he is willing to have them removed.

yes, as people do change body types over the years... tattoos on them may not appear as good as when they had it the first time... has your son ever regretted having a tattoo?

Hello,i do not have any tattoo as i am afriaf it will be very painful during the process,i do not want to see any bleed from my skin ,I am afraid it will damage to my skin .Also it is something permanent and I do not want to regret later but i will not be able to remove it.

i also do not like the painful or bleeding part of the process... -lol- if tattoos are removable, would you go and get a tattoo? :)

The pain probably isn't as bad as you might think. It feels like a cross between alot of tiny bee stings and a straight needle being drawn across your skin. It really depends on the person that's getting the tattoo though, my mom slept through all of hers, lol. I didn't bleed but I know my mom did just a little.

I have a necklace that I have worn everyday since my 13th birthday. It is a Japanese Dragon surrounding a black crystal, it is symbol of strength. I would love to get it tatooed on my shoulder but none of the tatoo artiest that I have spoken too can get the detail necessary. So I don't have one because if I am gong to put something on body forever it needs to mean something.

Nope and I don't intend to have one on me either.. I just don't find it neat to have tattoos on my body and the process of having such is a bit painful so I won't go around making myself feel some pain for such. Probably those stick ons will do but I just want to keep myself look clean..

well for me there are two reasons, i hate needles and couldnt do with the pain and secondly i work in a prison where tattoos are almost mandatory for prisoners but not allowed for staff. I think discreet small ones on women can look good but only on women, never on men blessed be

i guess too much exposure on tattoos on men will give anybody less desire to have one. i agree with the discreet tattoos. too much show-off will put me off. :)

I have four tattoos, all of them are my own artwork and professional done from my own designs. I have a small dragon, a dreamcatcher with a spider on the web, a styalised version of the logo from the movie The Crow and a portrait. They are all unique and individual and as soon as I have finished the artwork I have on my desk, I intend to have another tattoo

I have never had the desire to get a tattoo. I don't know why, I just don't care for them. I think if it's one or two, maybe in a place that is easily covered, it's ok. I think alot of people when they get covered in tattoos that are not able to be hidden, aren't hinking about their professional lives. Many employers frown upon tattoos and excessive piercings in the work place. I work for a Polie Dept and having a large tattoo where everyone can see it is not allowed.

the same goes for my boyfriend who's a doctor. it simply isn't allowed for them. and the company that i work for is very conservative, we even have dress codes and issues on earrings for men... and probably tattoos too. :)

Tattoos might be good to look at, especially if you are a teenager or in adolescent period and want to be coooolll. When I was younger, I admire girls who have their tattoos on the back. I like cute tattoos like butterfly (Like Mariah's). But I never had the chance to be in a situation where I am to decide if I really want it. Perhaps, I would not do it. Not because of the pain but because I dont think I can carry it with confidence. I might just regret having a tattoo.

I have also a tattoo on my hips. I got it tattooed when I was still a teenager. Now I really regret that I have one. The memories will always be there when I look at it. It's a very good decision that you did not have one. : )

hi! how come we didn't know and see it before? (talaga) :) anyway, it's hidden. and besides i hope you have more happy memories to erase the regret over that tattoo. :)

yeah, I have three tatoos....One is on my upper back right side, it is a rose, ribbon and heart with my last name in the ribbon. The other one I have is on my lower back from one side to the other, it is a tribal design with my two daughters name on each upper side and my sons name on the middle bottom side. The last and smallest tattoo I have is my name on my ankle. I have always loved tatoos and the rose was the first one that I got, at that time I didn't have any kids, but told myself that I would get one with their names if I ever had any.So thats what I did.

Glitter tattoo - Glitter tattoo on my daughter's face.
I don't have a real tattoo. The most that I had in this lifetime is pretty much like the glitter tattoo that my daughter had in the photo when we attended a kiddie party. I believe that tattoos are an artistic expression of the wearer. I have yet to try a henna tattoo, but nothing permanent. If I decide to have remove it, or get a new design, I could do so easily. There are also health related concerns regarding permanent tattoos and people who have them are not allowed to be blood donors. I would like to be able to donte blood anytime, so that's a cause of concern for me too.

glitter tattoos are so much fun during parties especially those with intricate designs. :) i remember my nephews and nieces disn't like to wash their faces until the next day coz they wanted to see the tattoos when they wake up. -lol-

i love tattoos but since i am still a student i can't have a permanent tattoo. i have always been fascinated by tattoos, piercings and other 'boyish' stuff even though i am a girl. maybe it is because of my father's appreciation to art that he rubbed some of it to me. i would like to have a tattoo on my back - my whole back. i would like to have tattoos that has ancient symbols, monsters, animes and other dark stuff. :p

your whole back would be very interesting to look at once you have your tattoos done. :)

Some people finds it as a work of art. In some country, tattoo is a symbol of bravery and it a cultures. Whatever the reason one decided to get a tattoo/tattoos, I respect their decision. Personally, I dont like to get tattooed. Mainly because I thought about my old age, the tattoo wouldnt look that cool anymore and what would you say if your grandchildren ask about it?

by that time maybe tattoos would have either been a regular thing to do, a phenomenon or a thing of the past. but yes, it's great artwork and pretty symbolic for some cultures... for others is a fad. :)
