Headaches are caused due to various reasons like hypertension, constipation, migraine, sinus, acidity, fever, over work, mental stress amd many many more, i know only some. I mysels is suffering from Migraine from many years and its a very bad headache. i donno what type of headache are you having but i am giving you some general remedies which really works in a headache. Take a clove , cinnamon, and almond in equal quantity, you can say around one tsp each and grind together with a little water to make a paste. apply this paste on your forehead . a paste made from sandalwood powder can also be applied on the forehead. it reduces the hotness of the head and gives a cooling effect and relieves you from pain. this is our home remedy practiced many many times by us at our place and it works, so u can give it a try. if you are having cold and then facing this headache problem then dont apply this samdalwood pwder paste. otherwise sandalwood powder paste is very good for your face too. you can also try this simpler one. mix a quarter tsp of clove powder in one tsp of cinnamon oil and now apply this mixture to the location of the pain. Avoid taking yoghurt in the night.

Do you get migraines? The stuff to help migraines is often a lot different than the remedies for other types of headache.

Here is what I do: 1. 3 tylenol tablets 2. Lay down with ice pack on my head wherever it is hurting in a dark quiet room. 3. Sometimes just taking a nice hot shower works by letting the water just hit on top of your head. It just depends on how bad it is.

headaches can be relieved in several ways. one is by taking pain reliever or analgesics. another is through massaging. moisten your fingertips with Pure Almond Carrier Oil then add two drops of Lavender Essential Oil. In a circular motion, gently massage your temples, the hollows at the sides of your eyes, behind your ears, and over your neck.

There are several natural remedies for various types or headaches. You first must figure out which type of headache you are experincing. Here are a few home remedies that you can try. The juice of three or four slices of lemon should be squeezed in a cup of tea and taken by the patient for treating this condition. Apples are valuable in curing all types of headaches. After removing the upper rind and the inner hard portion of a ripe apple, it should be taken with a little salt every morning on an empty stomach in such cases. This should be continued for about a week. Cinnamon is useful in headaches caused by exposure to cold air. A fine paste of this spice should be prepared by mixing it with water and it should be applied over the temples and forehead to obtain relief.

I am not into taking medicine as a way to deal with pains and headaches. What I usually do is take a rest. I sleep and hope that when I wake up, my headache is gone. But headaches can sometimes be so stubborn that even if I already have enough sleep and rest, it just wont go away. That's the time I see my eye doctor. Maybe I need a eyeglass replacement..

There are some herbal remedies that I could share with you but I am not sure if they would work for you, it certainly does for me. The most effective remedy for me is to take some ginger and put it in boiling water, and then to dissolve some honey in the water. Then drink the mixture, it helps soothe my headache!

Massage therapy relieves a headache by releasing the tension that causes the throbbing pain. This is good for stress related headaches. You can rub your head starting from under your ears. Slowly work towards your forehead. Massage the rest of your hair covered head using your fingers by rubbing the scalp. Finish off by rubbing your jaws, neck and lastly shoulders. It takes practice to be able to expel a headache quickly with a massage. Work on it to improve your response time.

Make sure you drink a lot of water. That may do the trick if you want to avoid medication. Acupunkture is the most effective headache cure I know of.
