Orkut is not a replacement for Yahoo. Yahoo mail is still the best. Logging orkut is like u are joining a party where all ur friends are there.

no not at all yahoo is very popular and better than orkut as other say rkut is public but yahoo has privet part we use orkut in iran about 1 or 2 years ago it was succesful at first but it callapsed after some mounth

When I first launched the Enlightenment-psych.net on the web I utilized the valuable resources between MSN and Yahoo, finding the latter more user-friendly. Yahoo has been around a long time, I have not heard of Orkut so I cannot compare; however, Yahoo is only as boring as the users on it. Much of the resources Geocities, 360, groups, weather, horoscope, games, etc are quite easy to locate, join or remove from your personal interest list. The features in Yahoo mail are far better than Outlook Express, AOL or Netscape mail and the worst is adelphia.net ! Nope, Yahoo works wonders for the spam filters, the garbage detection, the cleaning up process that have with Report Abuse features, I really like it and hope it stays around for a long time enduring those much needed upgrades every now and then . . .

Ya you are right.But now i am bored of using orkut also.I am using tagged.com which is better than orkut.Orkut is very easy and fast but tagged is having better features than orkut.Try to use tagged.com also.....you will enjoy more than orkut

i agree that yahoo is boring these days,, but orkut and yahoo are not the same.. still for mails we always use yahoo... orkut is to jus meet our friends online.. n scrapping in orkut is so publicly displayed but messenger u can personalise!!!
