What are tears???

i dun know what these tears are??/I have tried alot to figure out what tears actually mean....is it just the intensity of emotions that one could not hold and it comes out and start rolling on out cheeks...what these tears are realy??/
they are very good companion as they share my grief anf my joy as well...what you have to say for tears???is it your friend or foe???

Tears? Well, tears are our main weaknesses... Or our main allies. Some know how to use it in their favor. Personally, I don't like to cry. Not even when I'm on my own. No, crying is not for me. When I cried the last time, it was a long time ago. And it was always because I was sad with something. Now, I prefer to bleed inside than to cry out. People use it against you!
People are so evil that they have the capacity of taking your weaknesses and throw it at you. So, why cry? It won't bring me any good.

Yes, it hurts a lot more. But I'd rather follow this way.
Anyway, Tears have the function of keep your eyes clean and something else... I don't know what exactly, if you search you'll see. They have a function.

for me tears is my foe. why? coz i let my tears out when i'm sad, i'm being pissed, i'm happy and every situation that for all of you and my friends think will think, it's nothing to cry for. i can't hold my tears. it's like a leak sink. since i cried a lot, all of you will think me a cry baby :( but that's me. just can't hold up my tears. Maybe that's beacuse i've got a mole in my lower eyelid (based on chinese superstition, having a mole in my lower eyelid will cry a lot in his/her life)

i don't know why i cry a lot, i hate it sometimes, it just can't stop. like, when i watched those special needs children played angklung, i dropped my tears, but no one dropped their tears, when i looked around. i think i'm too sensitive.
never met anyone who have the mole like i do. so, i don't know whether those chinese words are true or not

In my own understanding, tears are biological features God added to help us, they are there to express those emotions and feeling you can not express in words.

beutiful perry...very well said...really tears do express the feelings that we cant express in words...sometimes i want to tell someone that i do care and if something hurting has happened thats juts a mistake and i dun mean to to do...words seem so small to help me and a small tears inside my eye explains all...
but same time there is some problem...somethimes i dun want to express by any way and tears just tells the whole story

Okay, found some kind of scientific explanation.
Tears have the function of preventing our eyes from infections and effects made by the pollution. They help us having a clear vision, without distortion. That's the scientific function.
