I've never heard this or had a problem with Paypal. I use Paypal for eBay as well and still no problems. Sometimes there are spoof e-mails sent out by other people trying to obtain your Paypal information but Paypal sends out advisories when this kind of activity is going on. Plus they pointed out the differences between e-mails that would actually come from them as opposed to fake e-mails.

i'm using paypal from last one year.. and i never felt the same.. i heard abt seasing of accounts by paypal due to heavy fraud transc, so i recommand you to accept payments from genuine buyers only.. always ship products to their registered addresses, see their paypal ratings..
and accept payments from verified accounts only..

I had a big problem with paypal. They took money out of my account 6 months after an auction transaction had been completed. Someone had bought a number of my items and paid through paypal, and I kid you not, 6 months later they took the money out because the person's account was fraudulent. They would give me no refund of any kind, and it took me forever to get a response at all. I thought that kind of verification was WHY you used paypal. Otherwise I should have just accepted personal checks. I am not a great fan of paypal.

How can they cheat? Who are they cheating. They charge seller fees for transactions etc so they make their money from that. They don't need to cheat.

IN YOUR CASE U CANNOT BLAME PAYPAL AT ALL BECAUSE ,PAYPAL HELPS ITS CUSTOMERS TO GET THEIR MONEY BACK INCASE THEY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT AND IT WAS NOT DELIVERED , THE PROBLEM OF THIS PERSON WHO TRIED TO EXCHANGE e-gold WITH YOU , HE MUST HAVE HAVE PUT A CLAIM WITH PAYPAL SAYING U DID NOT DELIVER HIM THE PRODUCT .

Paypal has been good to me on ebay and dealing sending money to my family. The money gets sent then it is in my account then it is sent to me in check if i request it that way.

I've used PayPal for years now and never had a problem with them. I have had problems with several sellers on eBay that used PayPal to get my money and never sent me the items I'd bid on and won. PayPal investigated the circumstances and made sure I got my money back since I never received anything from them. It sounds like you left something out of your story. I think PayPal is great.

Pay pal takes way too much of a cut when the handle my money....I had one deal where the took 33 cents for every dollar!!!!! What the heck was the point in me using them to have them take that friggin much!

well i hope not!! i'm planning to use paypal for my business ventures on ebay. even though i have used ebay in the past to handle a few transactions i have yet to find a problem...

I have used paypal on ebay for months now and other than the standard fees they take they have never done anything wrong. It is a quick and efficient payment method and when I have enough I just transfer it to my bank account

Hey! paypal is an organisation with more a lot of users online. Internet money wont work without paypal. So no chance of cheating
