I am a working mother, so I don't have lots of time with my darling daughter. How much time do you spend with your child?

As iam a house wife iam always wit h my kid and enjoy playing with him and i love to play with kids as it serves a good physical exercise for our body and even a good apitiser for our kids and i wish you to have such agalla time with your kids and try to spend the whole day when ever your are free and in the weekends and be away with your office work when your are at home with your kids. You can even plan for a long picnics by taking a weekend leave which will be a refresment for you also along with your kids from this daily routine life and work. All the best and good luck.

I am a working mother too. When I arrive home, I help her with her assignments. I also cook for her. That, I think, can be considered quality time for my daughter.

Your children are bigger so that they also want to spend some time with their friends. :-)

I was in your shoes until November. I felt like I only saw them on the weekends basically. I will not be going back to work until the summer is over. This will be my first and probably last summer to spend at home with my girls and I intend to enjoy every minute of it. It's sad when you think about how little time working mothers actually get to spend with their children. Great discussion.

You have to spend a lot of time with your children. The more time you spend time with your children the more closer you get to your children. I have seen parents spending most of their time in teaching their children different arts, crafts and hobbies. This is the style of getting yourself entertained and also teaching your children new things.

I am a full time working mother of two children. My kids go to bed at 7 so I get to spend 2 hours with them during the week and then the weekends are all theirs. I normally don't plan anything on the weekends that does not involve my kids. I always feel guilty that I do not spend enough time with them, but I really believe that it is the quality of time that I spend with them and not the amount. Both of my babies are happy well adjusted kids, and that is all that matters.

Well said, we should look at the qulity time; not the quantity time...
