Okay I need to stop drinking soda cause if I don't my weight is going to shoot up this summer lol. I drink coke cola and I know that is a no no, I'm going to try real hard to stop before the summer starts. If anyone knows how to drink something other then water to stay off soda let me know. Thanks God Bless.

I think there is caffeine in Coke that makes people want it, to feel more alert. So you could drink coffee, if you like it. Or tea, it is also helping to keep awake and it can be found in many different flavors. Ice tea or coffee is great during heat days. You can also train your taste buds by eating less and less sugar. After a while you prefer unsweetened drinks. If you check my profile and watch the movies there, you will get good ideas about how to get help with weight loss.

Can you drink diet soda? I've gotten so used to it that I can't drink regular soda anymore, it's way too sweet (and it is--a 12oz can of Coke has 12 teaspoons of sugar). Or try iced tea with artificial sweetener, or seltzer water with lemon in it,or fruit juice and seltzer mixed half and half.

I like to drink fruit flavored carbonated or mineral water. It's fizzy like soda and has a slight fruit taste. It doesn't have any calories or artificial ingredients. Target has a good one that's $1 a 1 liter (?) bottle.

Have you tried Crystal Light? When I quit drinking pop, I drank Crystal Light and a bunch of juices (100% juice not the other crap) and that seemed to help quite a bit. You'll probably get headaches if you go off of them cold turkey (kinda like smoking) but if you ween yourself off of them little by little then you will do better. I would say allow yourself to have one every once in a while even after you quit drinking them because then it allows you to have some and you won't get the urge to start drinking them all the time again!!

Well from someone who quit drinking them two years ago I'll tell you how I did it. My new years resolution was to quit so I just quit. It was really hard and I got headaches quiet a few times but it was completely worth it. If you don't allow yourself one every now and then, then you probably will relapse and start drinking them again. I try to allow myself one or two a month but no more than that. I drink water and juice and that's it. I will drink tea every now and then too. I add either Crystal Lite or the off brand flavoring to my water and it helps when water starts to get "old" or you just can't stand to drink plain water anymore. Good luck.

Well, I don't know what you have available where you live but here we have this drink called "Crystal Clear" which has a raspberry or citrus taste, but is basically just fizzy water and because of that has just 0.9kcal / 100ml, so no matter how much you drink you barely gain any weight whilst it isn't all that different from in example sprite or 7up but just no sugar.
