What is a good theme for a blog?

I have been wanting to start a new blog for the longest time. It is not the first time that I'm blogging, I have a number of inactive blogs which I have lost the 'feel' for and unable to continue writing.
Since, I would like to start one which I can carry through. My day to day life is a little too boring to be blogged about, so I'm a little stuck as to what to write.
Suggestions?

There is not such a thing like good or bad theme for a blog. I think you should start one that is corresponding with your personal passion and interest...talk about something you like...and you like to talk about...or place pictures about your favorite subject. On internet there is market for everything and by finding your niche market you can have many views....

Marketing is actually more of a headache when it comes to some topics for me. I like a lot of things, just don't know how to present them.

Whatever your interests are you could write about them. I'll give you some easy ones such as cooking, favorite foods, recipes, bodybuilding, weight lifting, running, listening to music, fixing your car or making money. That has got to help. :).

You can do travel tips and reviews, earning money online, researching places for people etc... Whatever you feel you can blog about. I blog about earning money and now I am going to start travel too

I actually started a blog before goin on vacation (so far there is only one entry though cause...well I went on vacation LOL)....all I'm using it for is my opinion/thoughts on certain issues in society and whatnot...why not try something like that OR sharing with ppl how you overcame a certain trouble or maybe advice on things you have personal experience with and knowledge about ya know...There are lots of options really

I'm actually thinking of a blog on open source goodies on the internet now, since I come across them a lot in my work. Thanks for the suggestion (and for putting people in their place :) )!

If you have no idea what you want to write about and already have inactive blogs, why are you bothering? Just to make money? If you have nothing interesting to say, nobody will read your blog. All you're doing is cluttering the web with more garbage.

Hi. We have the same experience, my active blogs are http://pinoyonthedot.blogspot.com/ and http://phpadik.blogspot.com/ . My inactive blogs were: http://mik0930.blogspot.com/ , http://windowsxptipsandtricks.blogspot.com , http://tabulas.com/~mik0930 and many more. I also have my http://phpadik.wordpress.com/. My longest blog was the mik0930 at blogspot.
On my longest blog, I discussed my day to day life. You may also post a review on a product you use, the result of a personality test you've taken or maybe an update on your mySpace, Friendster, etc. Make sure you don't miss a week because it makes you lazy to make up and that will end to your blog's grave.
