So, what did you think of last nights episode?

I'm confused already as to how they all know each other. I think since Linderman is a powerful figure, Nathan is somehow working for him to climb up the ladder. But what's the deal with him? He experiments with people with powers right? So what exactly does Thompson do? 'Coz he worked with Bennet before with Hiro's dad... Okay I'm lost now. I don't know why Nathan tells everything to those two people. Why do they want to blow up New York? What are they saving it from? From people with powers? I've seen the show from the start and still I don't get this... And Peter seems to be outside the loop in his family. Mommy Petrelli seems to know a whole lot more than she's revealed. It's like all of them are trying to stop each other.

As far as I know they need Nathan to win the election. So that after Peter goes nuclear he can be there to help NY pick up the pieces, making him a prime candidate for presidency in 5 years (or less) time. Im not sure what the Petrelli's do/used to do. I know Nathans character was a district attorney, as well as a Navy Pilot. I have a feeling that the father also was in the Law Arena but I cant recall for a surety. They seem to be a prominent family though.

I'm pretty sure Thompson knew Claire was going to Paris. It was Nathan's suggestion and it seems he tells them (Thompson and Linderman) everything. They want the bomb to explode (Linderman said it himself two episodes ago and Angela Petrelli also said it on the last episode) and they think Claire should be far away from NY, so this way she wouldn't try to stop it from happening. I think that's why Angela and Nathan asked Claire to go to Paris... But I don't know why they all know each other or why they all want the bomb to explode. Probably Angela and her husband were connected to Linderman in the past by their abilities, work (speaking of that, what did they do, exactly?) or something else.
