Bad User...

So I've noticed a certain user (and no, I'm not going to give their username) who I have seen so many times leave rude replies on people's discussions. He has quite a few posts, more than me, and his number is a 9, but so many times when someone starts a discussion I have seen him insult them and stuff. It's really frustrating to me to know that he is earning money for that! Have any of you encountered something like this?

I must say that I haven't come across any rude replies yet, but I would have to add that I don't consider things rude that easily as many others would. Without a sample it's hard to judge on whether I'd name it rude in this case, but unless he actually truly flamed somebody I doubt I'd say so.

I'm sure if the user leaves rude responses, the topic poster would report this person to mylot anyway. I never had anyone swearing and insulting me, but if they do I would definitely report them and encourage others to report this person too. Who knows how many times the user has done this to others, right?

Yes, there are rude people around who go around attacking people with nasty comments for no reason, but we just ignore the idiot lots. All I can say is that no one can control anothers writing here for except mylot. So if you ever feel anybody offensive, jsut report them and mylot will take care. The best you could do is ignore them, thats how you will survive here.

I haven't seen this. Just ignore it. Mylot people will catch up with him. That is not the kind of forum this is. This is a place that most of the people you run into are curteous and like to help when asked about something. I don't answer a person that is rude to me.

I've seen a different user like that, but his star number is 3 or 4, all of his responses are mean, but he's only typing a little bit so he can't be making much money. I'd just hit the good ole - button, when I see someone with a low star rating like that it acknowledges that they usually don't contribute much to mylot, there's a few exceptions but I've found that's often the case.

There are a few of them like that. I believe I know who you are talking about, but I'm not certain. Usually when i see something where a response is a mean & nasty one, I usually report it, as it is a violation of the MyLot Guidelines.

I hope you are reporting this person to mylot as an abuser. I don't tolerate rudeness, especially people who chime in with a rude remark to a response someone has left for one of my discussions. Mylot is a place for discussion and for seeing all sides of a discussion, but no sense in anyone being rude to anyone on here. Glad you brought this up.
