Is it worth replacing its hard drive?

I dropped my ipod and the hard drive went, its a 3rd generation ipod... I think it will cost me about 130.00 for a new HD.... should I just get a new one?

It's not even worth buying it in the first place. I wasted my money on this damn thing and it went off just like that! Lost 60GB worth of data. my whole life was on there.
I recommend you trash it and replace it with a music edition smart phone. A lot more reliable and a hell of a lot more cheaper!
