What's with the stars with a number inside placed beside a mylot username?

I read discussions from different aspects here in mylot and i noticed some members are placed stars beside their username. What is that for? is that what we get when we are rated highly?

Yes these stars shows our rating average ...!!
And our quality of writing..!!
You can see your rating just after you complete your 100 posts...!!
Its shows the average of the people rating you positive every day...!!Which depends on the quality of yours in giving replies to other discussions,and quality of your discussions too..!!And number of responses you get..!!
