how to know if my girlfriend is pregnant?

The best way to know is to go get a pregnancy test. There are serveral brands. One that comes to mind immediately is First response. I know that they all pretty much do the same thing. Have her take it in the morning with her first urine AFTER her missed cycle.. That should give an accurate answer.. if its negative wait a few days and take another. if after that there is still no good answer and she has no cycle go to the doctor for a blood test.

Girls can miss their period even if they are not pregnant, other things can cause it like stress. I would have her take a test and then go to the doctor to find out for sure.

oh ok, thx.....i have this best friend of mine who is like a nervous-wreck, she had mentioend that inspite of high levels of stress she has not yet missed her cycle till date, maybe delayed but not missed it...so was asking to clarify.

The most reliable way to know is to go to a doctor and have a pregnancy test done. I know that there are pregnancy home testing kits available now but it is better to know for sure. If you go to an obstetrician/gynecologist, then he/she can also look after the health of the baby and mother-to-be, so the earlier you know, the better. If you guys are expecting, congratulations! Children are blessings from God and in our Filipino culture they are perceived as good luck! :-]

they need visit the doctor, but if you like first you can go to the farmacy and making some test, the people work in farmacy can help you

Anorexia can stop a womans periods and some women will even miss a period due to antibiotics. Stress can cause this also.
I highly recommend seeing a doctor or go to the local health department and have a pregnancy test done there. It is usually inexpensive and sometimes free. (I had my first child at age 15, the health department is where I went to be tested after missing 2 cycles.)
Please do not put off finding out for sure as the earlier your girlfriend recieves prenatal care the better for the child.
If she is underage, please do help her with telling her and your parents.
