It's a good thing that I don't have any teachers that kicked me out of the class because I am being smart. Haha! You are so unlucky. I guess you should try a different type of telling your teacher that you are smart and polite.

I always got thrown out of classes because I was a smart a$$. Never polite. Yea, the teachers didn't like it when I held the mirror up to their stupidity...I still show people their silliness in their way of thinking and get my STARs taken away. I don't like that too much.

i really do not understand what you mean by this. during thier grade levels, the teachers there for my kids had always been on the lookout for the most intelligent ones. they have to honed so much more. they are the top 10 best students who shall represent the school in all of the competitions at the city level, the national level, and also at the regional level. at their high school days, this is the same scenario there was. it was in college when there are not much anymore for this. my son though went through at lot of competitions still at the college level because of his course. he was taking up a course leading to a bachelor's degree on hotel and restaurant management. and competitions are being conducted at mindanaowide level, then onto the philippine-wide level, then lastly, at the international level. people are really giving so much importance of food, food preparation and food presentation.

no one will take any liking to a person who is impolite and stubborn. if i were your teacher i will be doing the same. but if my student can show me that he knows better than i do about so many things, that will be fine. only he must know how to show his being knowledgeable. i believe teachers prefer to have students who are smart. they are very much needed in schools. they are immediately tapped for competitions which are regional and national in scope. then they can represent the country in those which are being conducted internationally. besides, very intelligent students can even get promoted if they can show that they are worthy of such. but, as for show offs only, they will surely be sent home for the parents to come over and talk to the teacher.
